4:30 – A beautifully intense Blazers/Knicks montage gets me even MORE pumped for the game, but three seconds later the moment is ruined by some crappy local band playing the crappy Blazers theme.

I like this guy's sense of humor

But, man, that text hurts my eyes. Something about the white on black isn’t doing it for me

Dave's original design (Blazer's thoughts) was white text on black

it works but you have to eliminate the gray side bars. The entire background needs to be black to be easy on the eyes. The idea is that the eyes adjust to the average brightness of the screen, which in this case is much brighter due to the gray. Therefore you lose contrast between the white text and black background. I personally like black background and white text. Just my 2 cents.

Change it to a white/light background with black/dark text

Improves readability quite a bit.

Because the first 10 comments were all either snarky or sarcastic. Thanks, I have plenty of that available in a lot of other places. Hope the blog does well with its intended audience.
