Seattle Blazers Bar?
I'm in Seattle for the holidays... anyone have a recommend on a good bar in Seattle to watch Blazers game (note: Fox Sports Grill gets an automatic unrec)? I'm looking for something (in order of preference) in the U-District, Cap Hill, Downtown, or Uptown. Or possible Wallingford/Fremont. My criteria are a more or less laid-back/dive-bar type atmosphere, with inexpensive beers. I love hipster-spotting (no place beats the Goodfoot...) so a place with just enough hipsters to make it non-obnoxious is cool too.
Thanks.

please redo the title to this post… “seattle blazers” — those two words cannot be next to each other :)

Yea I went to Fox Sports Grill
with my dad and sister when we were up in seattle, to watch the gonzaga game. Classy place, which meant no cheering, no sound, and expensive beers.

cap hill no
I live on capitol hill and they do not like sports. They’re sports hating hipsters.
In the U District, you should try Earl’s. They will have sports on TV, and you can ask them to change a channel… Although if they have satellite you’re screwed.

Earl's isnt a sports bar
Trust me I know. I live in the U District too, and I’ve searched for places that carry Kings games. There are place that have games on TV, but you have to search around. (Trust me, I’ve done this.)
I recommend the Spitfire Grill on 3rd ave if you can get down there. Place has decent food, a decent tap, and if they’re not busy with Football games or anything like that, you should be able to get a Blazer game on. Sport Bar & Grill sucks on food & beer, but they carry places too. (I don’t recommend that.) But again it’s a matter of taste.

Good luck.
Let me know when you find a bar with Comcast. All the ones I’ve tried finding Blazer games at have satellite although I didn’t try to hard since I have Comcrap at home. Post up if you find a place.
Screw my GF’s wishes, I’m just going to start hosting Blazer watch parties.

GOOD LUCK!
I went to 6 pubs in one night a few weeks ago — no one up here (even the big sports bars) have Blazer games….
Satellite pubs = no NBA due to blackout
Comcast pubs = no Comcast Sports NW for some reason
Even “Sport” (the Sports Bar near space needle) has no Blazer games this year
I HATE the fact that I have dish and can’t watch the games up here. Now that Sonics are gone….I have to go to Portland to see the Blazers play. Which I love to do…but which I can only do occasionally.
IF YOU FIND A SEATTLE BAR with Blazer games playing, let us know!!!
And Ericande — let us know when and what to bring to contribute to your Blazer parties!!!!

Ouch I didn't know they blacked the games out
The NBA has been doing some stupid things with it’s coverage this year.

Well I can say
That seeing the Blazers in person was much better than watching in TV, even if it was the VERY top row… I really miss my grandpa’s old season tickets in the memorial Coliseum.
I’ll look at the schedule and maybe have a Blazer watching party for a big game later in the year. Kinda weird having a bunch of message board geeks over though. You guys are all cool and won’t steal my worthless crap right?

I'll even bring you some of MY worthless crap to make up for whatever others might steal :)

I'm with the others here.
Trying to catch Blazer games in Seattle is pretty much impossible. If anyone finds a bar that has their games, please post it here. I can imagine a bar like that would turn into a Blazer fan hangout pretty quickly.
