[Edit: This is the 12/22 Trade Drawer] First trade idea i thought was worth while.

I read all of the trade posts on B.E. and i honestly like them. I know alot of us on here are getting quite annoyed and for this post i apologize. I was reading several articles about our blazers while simply being bored and started to think about our needs as a team and what could put us over the top. The post on Oden was great, very insightfull. I looked at our team stats on N.B.A.com and as was stated in another post on B.E. we lack in primater(deliberate mis-spell lol) defense as a team. I have personally posted about trading for Gerald Wallace or about trading for a better point guard, etc.

I truely believe we are just fine at our PG spot. Blakey does great at the moment and Bayless i am sure is our PG of the future so.......PG is good to go. SG, hahahaha, ya were good. C, Oden i think will do. lol PF, Aldridge is a great compliment to Oden. The Yin to his Yang style wise. That leaves SF, Webster: i love the dude, i wrote a fanpost about him helping an old lady out recently who was stuck in the snow. I would hate to see him leave, absolutley hate it. Trout: Longest tenured blazer, that means something to me. To go through the jailblazers as a very impressionable rookie/young player and to not be corrupted by it. Kudos! Honestly. As a player he can shoot over anybody(literally) and is only getting better. I do not want to see either guy leave but..........

We need "something" else at our SF spot. Batum will be a sick backup SF for the next few years, able to come in 10-12 minutes and hold down the fort. Trout is great as a focal point which is only going to be as a back up on this team. Web, well webster is yet to be seen frankly. We got a taste last year and he may be the biggest gamble to trade away. He just may develop into the exact person we need at SF. Right now though i just dont see it. Let me just say i am far from an expert before i sound like a total know-it-all. Let me just humbley give you my point though, in my humble opinion we have our top 2 scorers and could kinda use a solid 3rd option in the starting line up. Rudy would be our spark plug off the bench but we need that 3rd option in the starting five. We also need a great(not good) perimeter(primater) defender at the SF spot. He also needs to be able to hit the three. Last thing, he would need to be somewhat young but also a veteran. I would say someone around 26-28 and in their 5-7 year.

I got on N.B.A.com and played with the trade machine quite a bit and nothing made sense. Either we would be stupid to do it, the trade would not work, or the other team would not do it. Then i got to looking at the Wizards. Trout and Web straight up for Caron Butler worked in the trade machine(we may have to give up a first rounder also but we are young enough) http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=2015~2795~1705&teams=27~27~22&te=&cash=  and also worked logically. Why would we do it? Caron is a top tier perimeter defender, he hits the three at about 31%(right around Roy) and would be great as a 3rd option on the starting five. Plus as a former L@ker i would love to see him woop up on him former team for us on the regular. Why would Washington do it? They get to start Arenas at the PG Webster at SG Trout at SF Jamison at PF and who ever they want at C. I truely see this as an upgrade for both teams. I may be looney but i do. Were i K.P. this would be what i would try to do but again i am no where near as smart as K.P. nor do i get paid to make these things happen i just thought it was a great idea. Let me know what you think Blazer Nation.
