"This week has been very important for me. Principally, because my family has come to spend Christmas and New Year’s Eve with me – as I told you last week-. But also I have done something that was necessary for me since two months ago: to move house.

When I came to Portland everything was new: the city, the need to use always car, the American way of life. That´s why my mother, my agent and me we decided together that I would settle in a residential calm zone, Lake Oswego, in a medium size house. But once I was adapted to my new life a few problems arose: the owner had to do a few seemingly simple works, but that became a nightmare.

I could neither rest nor be calm because of the noise, so I decided to move. And with the help of the Blazers, because they do everything possible in order that I´m comfortable and calm, I moved house in a record time: 48 hours. Now I am in the same area but in a bigger house with more exterior space too. And no works, of course. The new house will be me very useful when come more family the next days, we will fit all without problems and we will be able to pass a Christmas tranquil in the (surprisingly) snowfall Portland (this line by BlazerFanSince1970) . And especially, I will be able to rest and to concentrate on basketball.

In the sports aspect, the team continues in good line. I have had games in which I have not succeeded with my shot, but coach Nate McMillan continues trusting on me, and the fans continue showing their affection and esteem as they did the first day. In our last game we beat the Phoenix Suns, a very tough team, in a game televised in all the United States. The performance of my teammate Brandon Roy, who made 52 points, was incredible. Brandon is a great player from whom I can learn very much, and I do not doubt that he will repeat the All Star apparition. Happy Christmas to all!"

I think “apparition” fits better than “appearance”, talking about supernatutal Brandon Roy, but I might be wrong.
