Great interview. Oden sounds in decent spirits and he's clearly a great kid. It made me feel a lot better.

at least we hear it straight from his mouth. Thanks!

"I'm not depressed. I don't want to get too high on wins and too lows on losses. We have to work as a team to get better. This team has a lot of pressure and we have to continue to work" - Greg Oden, 12-12-2008

Best interview I've seen in a while

Shows his good nature and gives him a chance to set the record straight. It’ll be a great story when he comes back full force to prove all the critics wrong. Hopefully this made him feel better too.. maybe it played a part in his 15/15 (2 fouls/42 min too) performance vs the Clippers?

Was nice to see the big guy play well tonight

was not in foul trouble…and i even caught a smile from him in the middle of the game. Was actually kinda impressed with the whole Barkley advice, maybe the kinda motovation Oden needed tonight to have a good productive game. Also nice to have Maurice Lucas back from his illness (wish him the best in his recovery) and finally working with the big guy, wonder if that is helping him out as well.

Why is this a press conference and not an interview....

and why is Oden so short?

and why the heck is he wearing a celtics jersey?

Every night the team scores 100 points is sort of a mini-Hispanic night.........all the fans get free Chalupas. --Bust a Bucket

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
