Boozer to miss Thursday's contest versus Blazers

Hooray! Boozer won't play against us tomorrow -- strained left quadriceps. Good news for LMA and Greg.

Utah is still really tough at home

This helps, certainly… however Okur and DWill are really tough matchups for us and Millsap ain’t exactly chopped liver. I think I would put LMA on Okur (better to have LMA chase him around the perimeter— Memo can score inside but he scares me more from 3) and Joel/Greg on Millsap (I don’t think LMA can keep ’Sap off the glass).

Then there’s that DWill guy— he’s tough.

I give the Blazers a decent chance, but it’ll be tough.

I'm more scared of Paul Millsap than Carlos Boozer.

In addition, I agree that LaMarcus Aldridge should be given the assignment on Mehmet Okur — who, for all intents and purposes, is a power forward, even though he certainly does a good job of playing center in Jerry Sloan’s version of the UCLA high-post offense with a flex motion twist — especially since Paul Millsap would give him trouble in the paint and on the glass.

Yeah we can't fall asleep this game

And having Boozer out will help. However, like metioned above, it’s not the end of the world for Utah.

Portland is going to be on a mission, the players have got to be a little ticked about the Orlando loss, This feels like an ambush, I really would not want to be anyone facing Portland after last nights game.

We gotta' make up for last night.

And keep it going for the Clips! My wife got us great seats for the Clips game. First game I will have seen in person in years. The last game I saw had Steve Kerr, and Sheed walking up and down the court at a snails pace (he was wanting to be traded at that point) and shooting threes.

My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.
