Notices for Upcoming Games

A couple notes about special events for upcoming games.

First, as has been mentioned several times in our sidebar, tonight is the unofficial "Nate Night" for fans at the Rose Garden.  You are invited to bring clipboards and whistles and (presumably) dress in $8,000 suits with impeccable ties.

Second, this from Stu:

I'm a Portlander and a huge Blazers fan, but today I'm writing you with my PR hat on, as I also work here in Portland for Edelman, a public relations agency. I wanted to let you know about a cool partnership between one of our clients, Banfield, The Pet Hospital and the Blazers that is in place to help hungry Pets in the Portland metro area. One way that we are doing this is by gathering unopened pet food from Blazers fans at the upcoming game on Saturday, Nov. 8 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. If people don't have any Pet food to spare, they can also provide a monetary donation to help support our third annual Seasons of Suppers campaign, which is a Pet food drive for Pets in need. If people can't make the game, they can also go to a nearby Portland-area Banfield to donate.

Anything you can do to help spread the word about this very worthwhile partnership between Banfield and the Blazers would be greatly appreciated! Please let me know if you have any questions about this at all.
