I'm happy to report that the network tech gurus are working on ways to make these threads faster when they get enormous. They're a few weeks away from a workable solution, though. In the meantime make sure to turn your avatar viewing off for the duration of the game if your computer gets slow and to turn your automatic updates off and just manually refresh if your computer gets slower. Both can be found under the "Edit Settings" link in the upper left sidebar.

Nice segue for a food post
My away gameday tradition: cooking up a nice meal and shoveling it down in front of the TV.
It was hard to come up with a menu for tonight’s game — iconic Utah food (green jello, funeral potatoes, Mormon Surprise) ain’t my thing, so we’re going to go with a Boozer theme. Din-din will feature penne alla vodka, served with glazed roasted vegetables and toasted garlic bread.

Utah hasn’t exactly played top notch competition (Clippers twice and Denver once)… Why do they think they’ll win by 19?
The one player who gives us problems (other than Boozer who gives everyone problems) is Kirilenko. Hopefully that Russian vodka has taken a toll on his game…

Im watching Bulls-Cavs on ESPN and Derick Rose he is awesome. He can penetrate at will and he reminds me of Monta Ellis when he jumps to dunk. I think if we had him then Roy and him might not work cuz they both are point guards.

Until the actual game (and the feed) starts, you’ll likely get a DO NOT HAVE CHANNEL type message when you turn to the channel.
Turn to another game on the league pass channels that is going on right now, and if ya got ‘em you’ll get the game.

I think he’ll be a great scorer (has a great touch and nice, natural moves) but I’m not sure if he’ll be a good of one as Melo, and even though Melo is one of the best scorers in the league it still isn’t enough to really help a team contend.

I considered buying it (out of market) but I have been able to see ZERO game so far on the free preview… needless to say, NOT impressed, if they are trying to sell me they are doing a piss poor job.

This game isn't really a test of Portland being better than Utah, but can we finish the game
when we are in control. I think Batum is going to be very important to close out this game. He has to be out there.

So i am a bit surprised. Not complaining though. Honestly I’d prefer a hook shot in the paint over him draining one of those. Something powerful about getting things down in the paint.
