Scroll down to the Mike Bibby section of the first point. Supposedly KP has been pursuing him. Somehow I doubt it.

Maybe

Now that the great start has stopped, the talks have resumed?

If the Hawks don't re-sign him

KP might target him if he could get him for cheap. Might not be a bad fit.

The most amazing thing about my amazing ego is I have amazingly little about which to be egotistical.
The pick and roll this year will emphasize "roll" followed by "dunk", followed by the wailings and lamentations of your women.

More point guards?

I could see how it would be attractive, but it just seems counterproductive to bring in a veteran on the tail end of his career that would take minutes from sergio and/or bayless.

Depends on the progress of Sergio and Bayless

and our SFs.

If our SFs look like the position is solved, then we are potentially two deep in starter quality (at least) players at every position except PG.

If that happens, we’re ready to contend next year. If our young PGs are ready to play a key role on a championship team, then that’s fine, we save the cap space, everyone is happy. If not, we might sign someone like Bibby for a couple years to try and win it right away. Like AK1984 said below, he’d be a good fit with Brandon.

I’m not sure he’s enough of an upgrade to make it worth it, but it depends on the young guys to an extent. As a free agent, we wouldn’t have to give up any of our young talent to get him.

Mike Bibby is a 1 who plays off of the ball, so he'd fit well next to Brandon Roy on offense.

I, however, am not sold on Bibby’s hot streak from beyond the arc so far this season, as it’s probably not sustainable for the long haul; addtionally, his defense has always been a weak point, which would be an issue alongside an equally mediocre perimeter defender in Roy. Yet, if Bibby comes at a discount price as an unrestricted free-agent during the upcoming off-season, then Kevin Pritchard should at least consider it.

Bibby's defense is worth than advertised

Walking into the lane was not uncommon when he defended PG’s in his 6 1/2 year stay in the Evil Cowtown.

No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. It's simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get tangled, you tango on

I like that Bibby grew his hair back

Apart from that, I have nothing to say about him at the moment. He looks more comfortable running the Hawks than last year. And he is a free agent next season, so KP should have him on the list of guys to observe.

Highly Unlikely

Atlanta would not trade their starting point guard considering they are off to such a great start.

Not a trade

but KP might target him as a free agent, in the right circumstances.

Bibby would be a great fit here

I loved him when Adelman was with the Kings. He’d be a good fit, but I didn’t think he would be “ideal” since he isn’t on the same timeline with our core….but it could work if he was here. Last year I might have traded for him…but given the growth of our players this year, I don’t think I would want to give up too much to trade for him. As a FA? Yes I’d go for it.
