Trade rumor tip: If LaFrentz isn't involved, it probably isn't happening
Brian Hendrickson has some inside info about the Blazers' trade prospects. Hopefully, it'll throw some water on some of the silliness getting slung across the Internet right now. Just cool off and enjoy the ride, fans!

Can we even trade Raef?
I’m not sure how the rules in the NBA work, But in MLB, a team cannot trade a player who is injured. RLEC is out for the rest of the year. How can we trade a person who is physically unable to perform? Just curious.
Greg Oden for R.O.Y
The team taking an injured player on can waive the physical
Raef’s injury is not deemed career-ending by an independent doctor (a la Darius), just a “regular” injury. He can still play a year or more of basketball after his current contract. Though of course what makes that deal valuable is not his skill set but his big expiring contract.
Doubt it
If anything, we will be receiving someones large expiring contract. Saving more money for the player KP is talking about as the icing on the cake.
