Roy did well (for Roy), but he needs to do this every night before I feel comfortable letting him know he will be on the active roster EVERY game.

oh yeah, GO has a lot of catching up to do
but the nice thing is we don’t need to be in a big hurry. he just needs to contribute a bit, the rest will comei in time.
Little fun facts
Oden has the same amount of double-doubles as Bynum this season. Bynum has to score another 2pts to have his first 20-10 game of the season. Oden already had his ;)

Basically, as we’ve all said, this year will be all about surviving the initial crap storm and then making the most out of the lighter schedule in the middle months. We don’t have to come through December unscathed but we do have to come through with confidence and at least a few wins under our belts. I’d say we need to find 12 or so wins before 2009 to be comfortable.

He started the season looking like he was the victim of brain damage in a motorcycle crash and then about 8 or 10 games ago he got the flow going again...
He was shooting like .250 from the line at the start of the season. Tonight should put him up into the .650 range, I think.

sergio works great with that 2nd unit tho
nobody else on there really can drive into the lane all that well. rudy shows flashes, trav just takes a dribble or two then shoots a jumper. frye just shoots. przy only takes shots he’s sure to make. great to have a playmaker at point for those guys.

his on ball defense is getting better, and his defense against screen and rolls is better as well, both of which are excellent qualities in a guard, plus his assist to turnover ratio is insane. even his shooting is looking good, on any other team he would be considered for starting PG

Fantastic
We finally stepped up in a big game and played good for a solid majority of the game. Loved Blake and Sergio’s effort against Paul. Loved Aldridge crashing the offensive boards. Loved Oden’s passing out of the middle. Loved Batum’s first half. Loved Pryzbilla at the foul line. Loved Channing hitting shots in the first half. Loved Rudy’s drive in the second half and his late three. Loved hitting our last 15 free throws. And mostly I love Brandon Roy.

Good game by the Blazers
They kept jabbing the Hornets until they got tired. Nice 1st Half from Batum and great hustle D by Sergio in the 2nd half. Oden still has ways to go, but he’s doing a good job passing the ball. Aldridge actually looked liked a real power forward against softie David West. Rudy brought great energy into the game. Przybilla is still the pillar in the middle. Roy is an All-Star no doubt.
