The most amazing thing about my amazing ego is I have amazingly little about which to be egotistical.
The pick and roll this year will emphasize "roll" followed by "dunk", followed by the wailings and lamentations of your women.

Most unlikely one in this scenario: The Raptors give us Bosh for RLEC and Bayless

Sir, please step away from the trade machine and take your hands off the keyboard ;-)

WHAT?

Toronto loves this deal. If you haven’t been paying attention, then you may have missed that everyone in Toronto basically hates Chris Bosh, because he is kinda… well funny looking.

I’d say this is as good as done. Book it.

I heart taxes.

so...

Sergio, D-wade, Lebron, Bosh, Oden?

off the bench Rudy, Batum, Pryz and Shavlik?

In reality sign some no-name PG and we’d still be good to go.

And hey, if Danny freakin Ainge can get Ray Allen and KG….Surely KP can get this done

Rooo-D!

Give away our whole team?

No thanks, I’m fine with OUR big three.

I don't know about that trade

it doesn’t solve our point guard problem. /s

by shralpster on Nov 24, 2008 9:35 AM PST reply actions

in reality this would

leave us with only one viable 3 point threat….not that there is any team in the league that can keep D-wade or James out of the paint if they want in (at least presuming they get their “star” calls)

Rooo-D!

What's the point of the failed attempt at humor behind this post?

Dismayingly, however, the thread itself isn’t as asinine as the few folks who’ve replyed by condemning that farce of an idea. Unless those people are being sarcastic with their comment — which is occasionally hard to detect in nonverbal communication — they should have their rose-colored glasses yanked off their faces, thrown to the ground, and stomped into a billion pieces.

Ugh, I almost feel like viciously slamming my head onto this computer of mine until I’m bleeding profusely.

Assinine?

Don’t be mean, just go to another post.

You being rude is the same as anyone else being rude, you are just more elitist about it.

Also, Writing is one of two forms of “verbal communication.”

I heart taxes.

by everett on Nov 24, 2008 10:16 AM PST up reply actions

As an addendum, I just looked it up and verified that you correctly pointed out ...

how writing is technically a form of verbal communication. I’m obviously not too knowledgeable about that subject, though, so you deserve props for laying down that tidbit of information. Besides, it’s pretty cool to learn something new in the oddest of places.

Thus, even though I may ostensibly come across as an elitist to some of y’all, I’m not a know-it-all.

Anyhow, there’s a justifiable reason behind my brazenly cocky response to this thread. It’s ’cause that kind of fatuous, vacuous gibberish adds nothing of value; plus, unnecessary tension is created due to homers coming out of the woodwork and objective observers getting riled up by their collective idiocy.

Oh well, I’ll just have to grin and bear it.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
