I actually would rather have Jazz win
Jazz are going to make the playoffs one way or another. I’d like to see the Spurs down and out so we can take their playoff spot.

He worked on his post-up game
and now he’s more comfortable doing that. Now they’re asking him to drift back out to the perimeter…just an adjustment period, that’s all.

I don't understand why they're asking him to do that, though
Shaq and Amar’e seem to complement each other well in the paint. So did Duncan and Robinson. Why can’t Oden and Aldridge?

good move for the knicks
bad for the clips. While Randolph is a dominant player, They already have Kaman and Camby down low.

Yeah but Camby/Kaman cannot start together
that would be a pretty low post offense with them together

Camby
Can come off the bench. ZBo should start.

but doesn't camby have a huge contract?
We all know how bad Randolphs contract is and combinded with whatever Kamans contract is (it can’t be small) they are pouring alot of money into a mediocre front court imo

We're paying $30 million/year
for two guys who don’t play at all…RLEC and Francis. The good news is that it comes off the books at the end of the year, unlike the Clippers. I think they do want to win finally.

But the Clippers will continue to suck, and the Knicks definitely got the upper hand on the deal.

But if you want a ring, you aren’t going to leave your team which is in better position and will offer the same amount of salary just for the media attention.
As far as I’m concerned NYC blew their pick by picking Danny Boy.

Logic is not important.
Only rooting against the L*kers is important.
Whatever “clear advantage” you see when rooting for them is completely an illusion.

There is a chance Denver will miss the playoffs (unlikely now that they have Billups though), while there is no chance for LA to miss them. Plus Denver is a division rival. Gotta suck it up and root for the Lakers here.

none of last year’s playoff teams appear to have dropped off much. Once the Spurs get their studs back, there will be 9 really good teams out west (and maybe 10 if Crawford thrives in Nellieball). The Blazers are not a lock for the playoffs.

yeah but I don't think 4 teams from the SW Div will make the play offs
SA or the Mav’s will be out, then that leaves our division with Jazz/Blaz/Nugs to make the playoffs then Lakers and Phoenix from the Pacific division with GS being the only threat and I don’t think they are that big of a threat….

DAL and SA have been written off many times...

End of the 1st, Blazers by 3
Portland survived a tough quarter thanks to some key 3-point shooting and some easy-shot misses by Sacramento.
They need to pick up their defensive pressure and ball handling/offensive efficiency if they want to win.

One of the reasons
One reason why Sergio’s 3pt % is lower than others is because he’s not afraid to throw up half-court buzzer-beaters. Others will deliberately mistime it so they don’t get an attempt.
