Interesting info o Rudy and Sergio
Hey...check this info about these two players,
http://saqueneutral.blogspot.com/2008/11/nbaspain-and-rookies-this-article-is.html
I guess is interesting to find out what they think about our Spanish players directly from Spain...hu?
On the other hand, I am really happy for Sergio's improvement this year, I really think he can do great things with Portland! Hopefully this is his year to explote and show the type of player he can be!

His agression and scoring have been great the last few games
It’s what we’ve been looking for. It’s not that he’s getting more minutes, it’s that the minutes he’s played haven’t been plagued by bad errors. He’s replaced that with defensive agression in the passing lanes, finishing at the rim once in a while instead of always kicking, and hitting the outside shot with some regularity. In short, he’s becoming a player that deserves time, not just one that thinks he deserves it. He can be soooooooo good, but ultimately, it’s going to be up to him how good he gets. It appears that he understands what he needs to improve on now. If that’s the case, sky’s the limit for him.

Exactly. He is going to have to take what he wants through good play.

its kinda weird
how people just love players that can score. Over the last few games yes sergio has scored more whic is good but if you look at his assist #s they have dropped.
It is weird that people will overlook the 4-5 apg drop if sergio replaces them with 4-5 points which is not a good trade.
I have been a sergio supporter and am happy that he is getting minutes as it seems that Bayless is not ready to play point in the nba yet.
I really like what our team becomes when sergio is in and love seeing him run around and make plays, the obligatory alley-oops to Rudy are fun as well. We have the personell to play spurs ball AND suns(2004-6) type ball.
The season is here.

Assists drop...
When teammates don’t hit open shots, that was the situation in the GS game. Thankfully Sergio showed he can provide an offensive spark & defense when he isn’t getting the assists.

he's finally realizing
that he’s not going to be awarded the starter role. He needs to grab it himself.
I disagree, I think the defense is sagging off of him
because they expect him to pass. So he is needing to shoot, for 1 because he is open, and 2 so that those passing lanes open back up. He has a tendency to pass up open lay ups for an attempt at a assist, it is a detriment to the team, and teams are picking up on it. So Sergio is adjusting correctly and I give credit to Rudy a little on this just because I have seen Rudy call Sergio out on this during games, for passing whe he should shoot.
If anything, Blake was on a route to a 16/8 game
He was looking like Chris Paul. I was amazed at how well he was driving against Rose, who’s supposed to be known for his quickness.
