Around SBN: Miikka Kiprusoff Wins 300th Game, Buffalo Crushes Boston

Spreadsheet linked here but outdated. Just a little roundup of how the teams are doing - too early to get excited about playoffs and end of season movement so this is kinda a mid-season update:

BlazersEdgers - Gym Ratted their way to Pro A! An amazing feat in my book - I'm betting we will see a lot more teams doing this next season using this team as a guide. Well, teams that don't mind losing every night....

BEdgers - Another solid playoff bound season it looks like. Currently in Pro D.

Just Blaze - Currently on the playoff bubble. Doomed to spend the rest of our existance as a bubble team. Go figure. Pro C.

Boom Goes The Odenite - Pro D. Not sure what's up with these guys.

Honka Playboys - Kicking some playground butt. Looks like they've got a steady lineup and may get to college this season or next if they keep it up.

Good update

The Honka Playboys will move up hugely once our newest player gets his TPs going. I’m pretty sure he was created this season.

Actually

Does anyone know what the determining factor in moving up divisions is? It can’t be pure rating because I’m looking at the standings and there are a bunch of Playground A teams with higher ratings than College D teams.

It's pure training points.

Thanks for that gentle jab in the side

of us BlazersEdgers…

" Well, teams that don’t mind losing every night…."

Gah… Oh well, we are gonna make playoffs as well, and finish with just about every player over 1000, maybe 1100, and next season we will be a force to be reckoned with.

Have to laugh

Psychotic Blue Gremlins are probably feeling psychotic right now after playing 3 BE teams in 3 games :)

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
