Does anybody have a problem with Duncan?
When the time comes What is enough and what would they let us get away with? Will they be looking for salary dump, or do they/will they want One of our three back in any trade for this guy? Its not like no one will be willing to throw a Superstar back at em but I figure they'll want to start over from the bottom again, as they've shown they can get it done through the draft. so what's it gonna take?
Note: My trade is crap, I know, there's no need to tell me but for conversation sake, lets say they do your trade for duncan would it be worth it? thanks :)

isnt he starting to decline anyways?
"All our holes," says shooting guard Brandon Roy, a surprise All-Star last year in his second season, "are holes that Greg is going to plug."

duncan will remain an elite player for at least 2 years,
book it. He is ageless, and can make that bank shot till he’s 50 years old. I certainly don’t have a problem with Duncan, but your trade is not very helpful, as it gets rid of one of our two legit centers for a pf/C who is aging. Przybilla is perfect for our team because he’s the right age for a sturdy backup center that can play above his head when necessary.

Duncan
I would love him being our backup bigman, let him get some rings on the way out & teach Oden/Aldridge along the way.

this is a beautiful...
…wet dream, but i don’t see pop giving up his best player for those three, would be cool though. We’d have to give up LMA or someone that valuable and then some to get him it seems like.

a vet is always good
but a veteran PG to accelerate the growth of our youngins would probably be more useful than a veteran PF.

Would a veteran big man accelerate the growth of our young big men?

I doubt the Spurs would go for it
but I do like that this was posted in fanshots rather than fanposts. Kudos to the faith.
Life is exhausting when you are this stupid.

Tim Duncan ...
will most likely play his entire career with the San Antonio Spurs.
It should be that way, too.

You do understand that TP is younger than Blake and has more value, right? :)

right.
I’m just assuming it’s alot easier to “rebuild” with free reign instead of a Monster salary/ Pink elephant in the room.
KP said something to the effect about “aging teams realizing their age this season”…..
Look I don’t expect it to happen but strange things happen in basketball trades. Really strange things. gasol….camby…..ya know. New York! :) maybe san antonio’s front office starts smoking crack…ya never know. ya know?

Too many Euros
Portland doesn’t have enough Marlboros to support that kind of roster!!!

My (somewhat biased) personal opinion...
… is that Tim Duncan is still the best player in the NBA, if you are evaluating that honor based on who is more likely to have a winning team regardless of supporting cast.
Kobe is surrounded by far more talent than Duncan. The fact the Spurs are 4-5 without Ginobelli, Parker and Oberto is almost as surprising as Portland’s 6-4 record. By this standard, I’d have to rate James as also being better than Kobe.
