Point Guards, Point Guards, Point Guards (w/ Poll)

Now bare with me, there have been a few posts about this topic, but I want to put a twist on this for our conversation. Now this is the position I would like to see stepped up whether its by our guys or bringing in someone. We already know the young studs in Paul, William, Stuckey, Rando, Harris, Calderon and Rose are pretty much untouchable on their respected teams. There's been a lot of players who are available thrown around as possibilities in Hinrich, Conley, Felton, Nelson, Ellis, ect, who all have a few things here and there that throw someone off (Hinrich having the most well rounded game of this group). This post is asking about those dark horse Point Guard candidates hiding. Is there someone we should divert our attention to and snag up while we can? A few possibilities by me:

Ramon Sessions - he's been doing good with Red out in the last few games and his stuck behind Ridnour possibily ripe for the picking (I promise I will never use that line again)

Beno Udrih - In the absense of Kevin Martin this kid has stepped up, scoring 30 his last game while adding 7 assists, he has shown he can dish it well while also getting his own shot

Chris Duhon - With Nate Robinson killing it (the biggest challenger so far for Rudy for 6th man of the year) Duhon may become a target for teams as he is amoung the league leaders in assists

Ronnie Price -  Has played well in Daron Williams absence, now that Williams is back will there be enough minutes?

So go ahead talk about your dark hourse's, or player mentioned above if you like or sticking with our guys and hope J Bay can help us hold up a championship trophy in the future!

Sessions would be a steal, but I doubt the Bucks still let him go

Could be the best passer in the game once Nash and Kidd retire.

Absolutely.

As the Brew Hoop Ambassador, I can truly say that Sessions is one of the three players whom they would not trade. I think Sessions, along with Bogut and probably Jefferson are going to be there for a while. Not even Redd, their leading scorer makes that list. He’s much more available than Sessions at this point.

30

I thought he would be older, but Bibby won’t turn 31 until May.

Sergio

I think he can be our starting PG.

"I just know that I can't get big, I can't eat whatever I want to. I have to eat healthy, I have to stay right, I have to stay involved and ... I have to be here at practice because you know what? I can play pretty quick."

Not the ideal skill set

But you will never get ideal skill sets at every position. If he keeps making the jump, Sergio will be more than capable of leading this team.

sergio in 4th

i couldnt believe my eyes last nite when i looked up and saw sergio playing in the 4th. sometimes on this team its hard telling the white guys apart. all i can say was i was entertained. yeah winning is everything, but i wouldnt mind seeing them just get 15 min apiece or a quarter a piece and who ever is hot gets the 4th. none are that great so i doubt it would really cost us the game. same with sf.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
