Today's Poll
Do over time. What a difference a day (and a solid road win) makes.
After that throttling of Orlando last night, it's time to update your prediction for this road trip...
I can't wait to see the percentages change.

Stellar Game
First? I don’t understand it, and I don’t have time to write an essay.
I love the effort last night, hope BRoy is Okay.
I'm switching from 5-0 to 1-4 just to spite ben
How about we have a Jersey contest that opens at the 2nd half next game?
If we lose the game we are supposed to vs Hornets
and also lets say a slight upset by either Miami Min or GS. its a safe bet to say 3-2. otherwise i say 4-1 is easily attainable
"All our holes," says shooting guard Brandon Roy, a surprise All-Star last year in his second season, "are holes that Greg is going to plug."
I'mking w/ my 3-2...
but with that big win last night and what I view as a very beatable Miami team, 4-1 is definitely in the discussion.
I think 2-3 is still in the picture, too.

I'm sticking...
is what that’s supposed to say.
Looks like my fingers are sticking to the keyboard or something… hey, what’s going on here?

I moved up a game.

I moved up a game
because I didn’t think we’d take care of Orlando. Miami is beatable but will present a challenge, NO I just hope we stay competitive, and the last two should be fairly beatable.
If you're paddling upstream in a canoe and a wheel falls off, how many pancakes fit in a doghouse? None! Ice cream has no bones!
I am still going with 4-1
This trip is where the Blazers begin to show the rest of the NBA that they are not just hype.
You sly åßß µø†˙å ˙¨µπ´®
Well played. I say they are a young team that will start believing the hype and will lose to an inferior team. Also, the Blazers don’t have anyone who can play shooting guard if Roy is hurt. They’re just not that deep. Furthermore, and so forth, such as, and we will be going against Dwyane Wade, and the Chris Paul.

Can't Rudy play shooting guard?
or Bayless for stretches?

An excellent use of the word "dunderhead"

Check that Category
It states, “0-5 is not possible, awesome.” Which I interpret as I choose not to vote but am ecstatic that we can not have an 0-fer roadtrip.
BTW, I stuck by my 4-1 prediction (with utopia glasses on).
David Stern could overturn all the Blazer wins
on the grounds that the Blazers are unfairly awesome.
3-2
We will lose to New Orleans. I also think Golden State or Miami will beat us, though we will get one of them. We should beat the Timberwolves, especially if Oden is back by then. If we beat Miami then we have a good shot to go 4-1, but I just don’t see that happening. I also believe that when Oden gets back we will see a lull as the roster adjusts to get him in the mix. I just hope the offense doesn’t slow too much because we pound the post with him. He just needs to defend and rebound, and he can do that with doing what Pryz does on offense.

3-2
Miami and Golden State are tossups. If Oden plays, I think we beat Miami.
NO is a loss and Minny is a win, in my opinion…
8 of our first 11 are on the road, so 6-5 is good.

I'm switching from 2-3 to 3-2
The trip is off to a great start— let’s make it count. This Miami game is winnable.
Boomshakalaka
Im sticking with 3 and 2 which 2 weeks ago we all would have considered astounding.
last year we started like 1 and 9 or 1 and 10 on the road.
If practice goes well today.
Quick and Barrett have both hinted that he will play tomorrow night.

Question
If Outlaw is so important to the “second unit,” won’t the addition of Oden have an adverse affect on the “first unit,” which seems to be playing well with Przybilla? Oden will mess up the second unit too. It is blowing my mind. I’m afraid the addition of Oden will mess with everyone’s unit, so I stuck with 2-3.
Update from Quick on OLive
Oden looked “fluid, explosive and ready for game action during the team’s afternoon practice on Tuesday” and that coach Nate said he will “probably continue to start Joel Przybilla at center and bring Oden off the bench”. McMillan said he will probably employ that tactic for several, if not many, games.
If that happens, I'm going to write a fanpost
And ask why the heck Oden is getting all of Frye’s minutes.

We better trade him to alleviate the minutes crunch
I bet we could get a basketful of second round picks for him.
One of these years, KP will own every single pick in the second round.
The most amazing thing about my amazing ego is I have amazingly little about which to be egotistical.
The pick and roll this year will emphasize "roll" followed by "dunk", followed by the wailings and lamentations of your women.
They won a game that I didn't think they would win
The only game that looks unwinnable is @NO.
Golden State has been looking pretty awful. I previously thought that was a tossup game, but now I think we have a good chance to win.
