Cause I live out of blackout area, and I haven’t been able to watch a SINGLE Blazers game on the free preview. 4 of the games were blacked out, and the 1 that wasn’t the whole site was down that night… needless to say I won’t be purchasing it this year…

I want Bynum vs Oden to be a matchup for the ages, and for Durant to be good… over all, I’ve been more saddened by how Durant has been because he just seems like a more experienced version of last year. Lotsa jumpers, not much else, not the dynamic all-round scorer/player I hoped he’d be.

All in all, Durant is an overhyped, unathletic Tracy McGrady wannabe with a flat shooting stroke.

the same refs who are calling touch fouls on zilla, and declining to T up Howard are the same ones keeping Orlando from gaining momentum.

I don’t care if his ankle is fully recovered or not. I don’t care if he is now totally injury-proof. We are playing well and we shouldn’t mess with our lineup.
Oden belongs in the second unit. And no more than 20 minutes for Oden.

And shoot, we didn’t play THAT well at all. We did what good, talented teams can do and win when playing so-so.
Oden is so important to our team, if he can play he should play.
AS LONG AS HE HAS NO PAIN AND IS HEALTHY, of course.
If that is the case, let him get his sea legs against Blount and Haslem and get his confidence up, not make him feel like a busty reserve.
He’s not a 2nd unit talent, and he should only play if healthy. And if healthy, he is going to be great.

he and Rudy Gay are a nice duo. Toss in Marc Gasol and Mike Conley and you’ve got yourself a nice nucleus.

He also isn’t as athletic as you’d hope a small SG would be…
I dunno. I think he’ll be a good scorer and seems to try on defense. I don’t see him being more than a volume scorer right now. Beasley is gonna have a few big games too, but overall be shaky like Mayo.
Right now, my money is on Rose— unless Oden is healthy. If healthy and plays most of the rest of the games, he’ll be a force.
But right now, Rose has the media love and good numbers.

Oden’s NBA career has lasted a grand total of about 5 minutes. I’d wait until he gets up to at least oh, say, 20 before saying you’re not impressed.

We shall see. I think Beasley will go down in perceived value while durant will go up. Rose will stay steady; I see him as being a long term success — consistently one of the top 3 PGs in the league within three years and then for a long time.
Mayo. Yes indeed likely ROY. I always believed he was the best NBA player of this year’s draft. NBA body with huge skillz and the athleticism to get it done. Plus a very high b’ball IQ. Very fluid and efficient in everything he does. Seriously in a league of his own soon to be.
