Today's Poll
On the road again. Like a band of gypsies.
I would like to see 3 wins from this trip but it might be tricky as the most obviously winnable game, against Minnesota, is on the 2nd half of a back-to-back after New Orleans. Eek.

All except Minnesota
have winning home records. Who else do you think we’ll get?
I agree that 3 and 2 would be terrific. I’d be quite happy with 2 and 3.
I more expect 1 and 4, and that may not be easy.
The most amazing thing about my amazing ego is I have amazingly little about which to be egotistical.
The pick and roll this year will emphasize "roll" followed by "dunk", followed by the wailings and lamentations of your women.
Golden State looked horrible yesterday
The Kings were quite literally scoring at will. I think we win that game, and the Minny one. I hope we get one of the other three, but it’ll be tough. 1-4 is definetely a possibility. We shall see.

Looks like I was wrong
YES!
I still think Miami will be MUCH tougher than people expect. But I’m pretty optimistic about getting at least one more, and maybe even two. I didn’t expect a win at Orlando at all.
Sometimes, it is good to be wrong.

Schedule change ...
I vote we instead play New York, New Jersey, Charlotte, Miami and Miami again.

I'm going w/ 3-2...
which is optimistic. I think we have a good chance tonight and against Miami, and I think we should beat Minnie and Golden State.
If we get the ball to bounce our way, we could get to 4-1.
I will eat my hat if we win all 5.

I have that feeling that our boys have passed that early season nervous feeling...
and I have a hunch that they’re very ready for this trip.
I don’t think we’ll see 10 point leads fade against this level of competition… not to say these teams aren’t good, they just aren’t as good as the Suns and Jazz..

Totally called my shot here.
This young team is learning how to take and keep late leads, even on the road, even without the Przybillinator in the key playin’ crazy “D”.
Ten point lead saved.

2-3 realistic
"All our holes," says shooting guard Brandon Roy, a surprise All-Star last year in his second season, "are holes that Greg is going to plug."
still no wins on the road, but you never know...
…Oden may “rise” with us.
latcho drom blazers.
out-rebound the magic, and shut down the heat’s stat studs, that’s 2 wins right there. I don’t see us beating the other 3, but i could make a living on being inaccurate in my predictions.
matchup wise this seems accurate, but schedule wise we should be freshest against NO and OAK, but i don’t see us matching up well against them, again hope i’m wrong, and Portland wins all of them.
1-4 upside: would include an earlier road win than last season
after squeaking out a few home wins, what would indicate the Blazers will tear through a road trip? Orlando, New Orleans are losses against great teams. Miami is another .500 squad, to whom you give the home court edge. pick up a Minnesota or Golden State win, and you’ve started the W column for the road this year. (okay, 2-3 is what i want to say, but set reasonable expectations and be delighted by exceeding them.)
reasonable perspective from a rational (but engaged) fan.
trade outlaw, blake, sergio, frye, and Ike!
sorry.. just getting ready for all of the presumptive trade demands that will happen before we are done with this road trip
