A solution for the non-comcasters?
Not sure if this will work but seems like it could be a way for us without comcast to view all their broadcasted games. I had to search for a way to view the opener vs Lakers(wish I didnt ) checked out justintv.com and found my solution. Was able to watch the game on tnt via someones tv. I am not totally aware of how justintv works or how you become a broadcaster but if someone with comcast and the ability could set up an account and broadcast the games for us to view via our computers - not great but the pic wasnt bad for me - at least we could get around the comcast crap and still get our fix - any thoughts?

Today's Suns game
"All our holes," says shooting guard Brandon Roy, a surprise All-Star last year in his second season, "are holes that Greg is going to plug."
you could also invest in a slingbox
i’m in miami now, but I bought one and had it delivered to my family in ptown. They have it connected to a coax without a TV and I just take the signal during Blazers games. If i can’t watch one, I just have him DVR it and hook it up-works great. Little bad framerate/low quality picture can’t stop me from watching my team.
No check it
this game is on nbatv tonight and you can go to
Veetle and watch nba tv on that website. It is FAR better than justin .tv will ever be, but yes there is that site as well.
What we need is someone who has verizon fios or qwest fiber optic. Only with one of those internet connections will the upload speed be fast enough to give us any quality picture, add to that fios tv has comcast sportsnet.
Then they would need a video card with video in so you can get the tv signal into the computer.
Then set up a jutsin.tv account and broadcast it over the internet giving only us blazersedgers without comcast nw by setting up an account with password protection so we do not slow everything down, but with fios, there would be enough speed to balance the signal out.
So, if anyone has verison fios and is willing to broadcast the games for us that would be exemplary.
The season is here.
here's the link to the NBA channel

Witty Unpredictable Talent and Natural Game
This is the way to go...
It’s beta software being produced at Stanford, and it’s slick. It’s in HD and there are no glitches. This is the link to tonights game against the Suns.
thanks...
I will check it out tonite – I got a good deal with cable last year – 3 month special – but I am not fond of having sooooo many channels of crap – especially with my young kids – just ended up being too much hassle and too much tv watching – for all. If they would only let you get the channels you wanted. I am happy I can get an alternative – I will listen to radio but miss seeing the young team grow – god I love my blazers!!!!
The quality is good. Unfortunately they only have NBA TV
Reason I got league pass broadband, which isn’t perfect in terms of quality but at least reliable (nobody trying to shut the channels down, which can happen on Justin.tv all the time).
is anyone else seeing
the signal drop every 3-4 minutes with a message suggesting they are having trouble with the channel or maybe my firewall? I am running on an old Win2k machine with no firewall so I don’t think it can be that.
We should do this before every game
Just post a bunch of links so people can watch the game on line.
This is called "retransmission," which is a violation of copyright law, so you probably shouldn't be posting such things on a public message board...
