Good bars to watch Blazers games in Portland?
Hello BEers all! I was hoping you could recommend some bars to watch the games at, preferably good places to hang with other Blazer fanatics. I live in inner SE but anywhere close in is fine. Thanks so much!
Go Blazers Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers! Go Blazers!
There. 75 words. Exactly!

I used to go to Claudia's
on 33rd (?) and hawthorne, catty corner from the fire painted BBQ restaurant. There is a good group there, it’s a fun place. Take it with a grain of salt since I haven’t been there in a while, but if you’re in SE it is probably worth a look.
Sergio will explode this year as the best NBA player ever and will take revenge impregnating all Portland and Blazers with the "chocolate" word.

Claudia's: 30th Hawthorne
Still a great spot. Every game on the big screen. A good crowd, lots of seating, good bar food, and a wide variety of beers. Boomshakalaka!

Old Chicago on 82nd (almost in Clackmas) is fun. 40 beers on tap, and good eats.

Only 40?
I thought they had a ton more. There is like a 3 meter penninsula of taps there. That was my old spot after I got off of work.

I think that they have 110

i dont get it
i’ve gone to A and L a few times, and it just seems way too “dumpy” for my tastes. i havent been there in a few years now, but when i was last there they didnt even have any lcd/plasma screens…let alone hd.
i prefer mc guillacudys to a and l since they are sorta similar i guess.

over on the west side?
got this dope spot over towards the 185th/tanasbourne area called Redbrick Grill and Bar. 14 draft lines, 6 HiDef flats, food is really good too, asian bbq is their concept I guess. kinda feels like a henry’s in there, really nice decor. 188th and cornell near noah’s bagels, behind unitus bank

On Deck Sports in the Pearl & McCools in Clackamas.
A great spot is On Deck Sports in the Pearl, they play every Blazers game and have plenty of flat-screens, lots of seating, inexpensive Beers and cocktails. They are at NW 14th and Lovejoy in the Pearl district. I also go there on Blazers game days if I have tickets as they have specials before and after for Blazers games, as they are like less than 5 minutes from the Rose Garden.
I also like to go to McCools in Clackamas, that is SE 122nd and Sunnyside. It is a smaller joint that gets jam-packed, but they have nice flat-screens and tons of beers on tap.
On the west side, I have hit that Redrick Grill too, it is pretty cool.
Old Chicago’s are brutal for me as they allow smoking… and I don’t dig that, these other three places are smoke free! It sucks to come home smelling like an ashtray.
Oh, and Buffalo Wild Wings is garbage. Food is overpriced and atmosphere is weak. I thought the bar-stools were like sitting on a seatless-bicycle.
