I hope the 'Most Outstanding Worker' award isn't cursed.

"Offseason champion: Despite an injury that has shelved him during the preseason, Channing Frye earned the Blazers' second annual most outstanding worker award, given to the player who demonstrates the best work ethic in Portland in the offseason. Jarrett Jack won it last year. "

I hope this isn't a preview to Channing being traded in the 2008-9 offseason...maybe I'm just paranoid or have watched too many movies with ham-handed foreshadowing.

Maybe your just paranoid

Channing is a keeper and will retire a Blazer with a fist full of rings

That's my hope

Channing is one of my favorite Blazers and I hope he has a long, mutually rewarding tenure with the Blazers.

Have you seen the interview Channing gave on media day?

He sounded like the most mature Blazer by a mile. He was well spoken and his answers did not seem preplanned.

Heh!

Poor Blake! It’s gotta be tough being him, being a bland white guy hard working journeyman at his craft that will never garner him fan favorite.

Channing Blake

Steve Fry

We need ’Hardest Working Man in the PTB" shirts made up with either of those two names.

And maybe a special shirt with a picture of Trout on the front, #25 on the back and the words, “No, my name’s not Bo!”.

Rats

I always get nervous when people start talking about opening day of Bo season

Could be worse...

He could be a “scrappy player”/Nate’s favorite guard.

Clearing Room For The Blazers Out West

As the playoff picture begins to take shape it becomes clear that the Western Conference is one big game of musical chairs. There are nine viable playoff teams; unfortunately there are only eight playoff spots. For the Blazers to get a spot, one of last year's playoff teams needs to fall off. Someone's going to be caught standing when the music stops. The following are possible scenarios that could derail each team on their quest for playoff glory, helping the Blazers get back to the postseason for the first time since 2003.

Check out the other scenarios over at Bustabucket
