The long and winding road
I took a few positives out of last nights game. One, it was only game one. Two, we have a future star in Rudy Fernandez. Three, the poise shown by Brandon Roy, in arguably his worst game as a pro the guy stayed with it and never lost his confidence. The team made a few runs and cut a 20 point early lead down to 8. The best team in the west exposed the piples of the youngest team. Now we just need to put on some Pro-active and stay the course. I want to see Rudy more and I would even put him in the starting lineup.

Honestly, they just got off on the wrong foot.
With Nate making the late change to the starting line-up, the offense was unable to ever get in the flow of the game. They had wide open looks that just were finding twine Travis hasn’t practiced with the first team at all this pre season, and this was obvious from the get go. Not to mention, the first unit wasn’t used to playing with Travis either. If Nate wants to start Travis, he needs to make up his mind and stick him there during practice. Once everyone becomes comfortable with there roles, this team is going to blaze through the regular season. I saw a lot of good things that if put together in the correct sequences (with less misses as well) could have changed the outcome of that game.
