If this were the NFL, Andrew Bynum would be fined and possibly suspended. Oden will know exactly how to treat Bynum next time these teams meet. I fear for Mr. Bynum.

Let’s stop being a bunch of crybabies. Oden twisted his ankle, that’s it. I’m as disgusted by it as anyone, but get a grip. Bynum wasn’t trying to hurt him, he was trying not to get his head caved in with a vicious dunk.

Bynum might be Tracy Morgan in a big tall suit. That “Make it Rain” trash was just too funny to be real. Normal foul though.

I don't think Bynum

was necessarily trying to hurt Oden. However, I do think with all the ticky tack fouls that can result in extra shots when in penalty that we ought to have more gradations of fouls. Especially dangerous fouls. I think undercutting in particular followed by dragging guys down (this is more then just preventing upward motion its actively pulling down) are quite dangerous. I saw a pulling down foul on Rondo in the Boston game that I also felt was dangerous. The NBA definitely needs to rein in dangerous fouls. I don’t think Bynum was trying to hurt Oden but I think that kind of foul might need to be looked at differently in the future as it has real potential to cause injuries. Lord knows Bruce Bowen should be banned from the game not to compare him to Bynum just saying the NBA should do away with this kind of dirty play.

not trying to compare Bynum to Bowen. Saying Bowen style play HAS to go and a pulldown or undercut foul might need something more stringent like a shot plus possession to discourage it.
