Tuesday night?
So, where are we all gathering to watch the opening night double-header? Cleveland at Boston @ 5:00pm, then Portland at L.A. L*kers @ 7:30pm.
I chec ked out Fire on the Mountain on E Burnside, and they've only got two HDTVs that can't be any bigger than 40", and they've got the games muted, so we'd miss out on the comedic commentary of Sir Charles Barkley... it will be great to hear him finally recognize the Trailblazers for the upcoming championship contenders that they are.
I've heard good things about Grand Central, but I am not sure I want the sound of bowling overwhelming the ambience.
So... where? Let me here your suggestions, and lets actually try to decide on where we can do this... If not in our own living rooms.

"All our holes," says shooting guard Brandon Roy, a surprise All-Star last year in his second season, "are holes that Greg is going to plug."

The Agency
The new ultra sports lounge across from PGE park won’t be ready till the weekend. Sorry! Once it is, we’ll feature wall to wall wide-screen plasma’s and a multi-plasma chandelier. Kenny Carr’s son, Cameron, is the main coordinator of the place.

Nice I live at the civic
the building above the agency. It sounds like a great sports bar.

NYC?
Any Blazer fans in New York City heading out to a bar to watch? I could always stay home, but I was hoping to share the excitement with some fellow Blazer fans.
And show off my new Blazer gear, of course.

Hey OutrageousJ-
you’re going to school in NYC, right? Where at? I’m applying to NYU…. crossing my fingers for student loans and financial aid though.

nah
I was in DC for school, but just finished that and I moved up to NYC for a job. Unfortunately, while I knew Portland fans in DC I don’t know any in New York. Which is why I’m looking for some…

Is there a way to message people on here?
Now that this post moved off of the recent fanposts, they’ll probably never see it.
Oh well, I’ll just try to find a good sports bar and see if I run into anyone.

Mission Theatre
about 16th NW Glisan. It’s a McMenamins place (they don’t have the space/equipment to make fries/tots, though), and the screen is pretty big.
