Hilarious Q and no A with the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats

Ties in with the current rumors about a potential sale of the struggling franchise, or changes in the roster because the team has to win now to keep afloat.

Hmmm

So the NBA moves a team from Seattle to OKC when they have financially lame duck franchises in New Orleans, Memphis , Milwaukee, and Charlotte. How long until OKC is in a win now situation financially?

Bob only had to drop $300mil to bring the ‘cats into the league, those oily guys have spent SOOO much more to steal a team, so they definitely don’t have the same number of years until they’re in this position…might even be forced to sell a product whose value they completely gutted.

Yeah, Bennett should have bought this franchise to form the Oklahoma City Thundercats :)

The city of Charlotte deserves an NBA franchise. They just never warmed completely to the lame Bobcats expansion team since the Hornets left town.

Clearing Room For The Blazers Out West

As the playoff picture begins to take shape it becomes clear that the Western Conference is one big game of musical chairs. There are nine viable playoff teams; unfortunately there are only eight playoff spots. For the Blazers to get a spot, one of last year's playoff teams needs to fall off. Someone's going to be caught standing when the music stops. The following are possible scenarios that could derail each team on their quest for playoff glory, helping the Blazers get back to the postseason for the first time since 2003.

Check out the other scenarios over at Bustabucket
