My Introduction as Ambassador to Dream Shake
This morning I created a FanPost on the new SBNation blog - The Dream Shake. I am asking my fellow BEdgers to visit the Dream Shake blog and post some friendly comments welcoming them to SBNation. It is my sincere hope that some friendly banter can be established between us and them.
They to have some significant common ground with us here in BlazerNation. For example, there appears to be a level of hatred for the Utah Jazz that might actually exceed our own distaste for the Jizz. I believe it much resembles our revulsion for the Flakers.
I believe that The Dream Shake will be a excellent addition to SBNation and that we should assure them that they are welcome. I also would appreciate some feedback concerning my FanPost over there at The Dream Shake.
I tried to make this a FanShot but upon reviewing that horrible FanShot interface, I rejected it outright. As a Webmaster I find it to be pathetic.

Nice post
I had my first ambassador post (not mentioning being an ambassador) but I don’t think I will have any comments :)
The site is DEAD
When asked about his thoughts during the Olympic games about playing against Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard, Rudy responded "My first thought was respect. My second thought was to kick their ass".
Man I love him.

Whoa -- dead doesn't even begin to describe it
It’s too bad. The blogger who runs that site deserves more readers.

They have a post stating "our GM is better than your GM" ;-)
That blatant cry for comments to the effect of KP > Morey almost made me join…

Confession time
I hadn’t been paying attention to Morey. Now maybe I will. I have a soft spot in my heart for young, smart, passionate, analytical GMs. The new wave, etc. etc.

Daryl Morey ...
is a more inherently intelligent front office executive than Kevin Pritchard.
Intelligence, however, is just one of numerous qualities that’s needed for the position.
Yet, all things considered, Morey and Pritchard are both in my top-five ranking of general managers.

You know their IQ test scores?
Not sure on what basis you say one is more inherently intelligent than the other.
Not sure I care, though. Like you said, it’s just one quality.
Just seemed a strange topic about which to be so dogmatic, unless you personally know them both or have some pretty solid objective evidence.
The most amazing thing about my amazing ego is I have amazingly little about which to be egotistical.
The pick and roll this year will emphasize "roll" followed by "dunk", followed by the wailings and lamentations of your women.

Morey is an MIT grad, so at least he can't be a complete moron, right?

Did you read the ESPN Mag Article?
Great article on Morey, whom I hadn’t really paid much attention to. Sounds pretty similar to KP, they’re both numbers guys. Of course, I think KP kicks his arse all over the place, but who am I to say.
Just kidding, I think Morey has done a decent job over there. He seems like a interesting hombre.

Yeah
but I suspect some inherently intelligent people go to Kansas and other places, too.
It just seemed a strange statement.

Okay, Daryl Morey has a more extensive educational background than Kevin Pritchard.
Unlike my subjective comment regarding their respective intelligence, that’s an irrefutable fact.

LOL
I would even say “more impressive”.

Thank You, fellow BEdgers!
I am most humbled and gratified by your generous contributions to my effort to represent Blazer’s Edge as Ambassador to The Dream Shake. To those who are Ambassadors to other SBNation blogs, be assured that I will be posting on your behalf as well.
Bless You,

The commenters over there are all froom BEdge!
I seen a bunch of familiar folks over there. Gosh it’s just like home even though it’s in Houston. Houston kinda sucks, by the way. Worst air quality in the country. And no zoning laws so you see strip joints right next to lawyers offices. Well I guess that’s convenient for the lawyers.
And the winner is … Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Remember him—the great Democratic president who saved capitalism from the capitalists by reining in their exorbitant greed? Forget the Reagan Revolution heralding a new era of small government, which turned out to be nothing more than a fig leaf for legalized corporate crime. The hero of the hour is FDR, as the essential wisdom of his New Deal is now embraced by most Republicans as well as Democrats.

Yeah, it is kinda nice for the strippers too...
if anyone can make it “rain” the lawyers can. :)
