Poll: How many games are you going to this season?

I know a lot of people that are buying tickets left and right, and I want to see what the turnout will be from long term fans at Blazers edge. I myself can only go to five, but in those five I am going to the opener, the Celtics game, Golden State, Utah Jazz, and the Laker game in March. I cant wait for the Celtics game because I got 100 level tickets.

I have 3 full season tickets...

but I sell two of them to my father’s law firm for client/employee gifts. But Instead of going to every single game with their clients/lawyers, we divvy the games up, so sometimes I have all 3 seats to a game, sometimes 2, other times just 1. It works out for me to be at 25 games this season… sometimes with friends, sometimes with lawyers.

Good news/Bad news

Good news: Gonna go to the game

Bad news: Takin’ a lawyer

i wish i could go to more

but unfortunately school tuition and books kinda eat up a good portion of my income, which is already limited to begin with. but i think i should be able to go to at least one. when we make the playoffs though, i know i am going to go for sure, even if it eats up all of my money.

My number is not represented here

I’m going to ALL the games.

I'll probally only get 1 a season...

I can only make 1 or 2 games a season at least until we’re playing in June. I live in Wyoming, so the only games I make are when I’m visiting my parents for X-mas. Hopefully we make it to the NBA finals soon so that I can see more games =p (The last day I have to work is usually June 5th or 6th.)

by Gelvalst on Oct 25, 2008 6:08 AM PDT reply actions

Since they only play in Milwaukee once this season, I'll probably only make one.

I could go down to Chicago and catch another, but then I would have to drive into Chicago.

I may do a bit of an east coast tour

Philly Nj and Charlotte are all in one week period…maybe Atlanta..Orlando is on my daughter’s B-day…

by LetsBlaze on Oct 25, 2008 8:09 AM PDT reply actions

if you're going to the NJ game

drop me a line, I’ll probably be there

by kickbrass on Oct 25, 2008 9:50 AM PDT up reply actions

I'm likely going to Philly

especially if Shav continues to contribute and gets a chance to get back in their face .. I was real unhappy with the way he was treated there last year..

Then if I go up for that, I’ll prob stick around for the next days NJ game cause the 2 arenas are only 90 min apart or so and I got family & friends up there anyway

hoping for 3

Nov 18 in Oakland (GS) while I still live here, Nov 28 in Portland (vs NO) while I'm visiting family for Thanksgiving, and January 15 (NJ) right after I move to New Jersey. I love wearing my Sergio jersey at the away games :)

Love to go. But too much in the way.

I’d love to go to a game this year. Would love to see the Suns, as I am a Nash fan. Too much in the way though. Live in Canada, lack of money to get down, not valid passport, have to get to Vancouver, B.C. first etc. That can all change though. I hope soon. I haven’t been off the island in 4 years and that was to the Suns Sonics game I saw.

They shouldn't be.

They shouldn’t be hard to get through. Maybe I just worry too much.

April 10

I got the tickets at a charity auction. They are in a suite. I have a feeling I’d rather sit elsewhere. Any opinions on these seats? Thanks.

by lama on Oct 25, 2008 4:56 PM PDT reply actions

The difference is

you have room to yourself. You dont have to wait in lines for food, and you have your own bar, It is more convenient, but it is expensive (meaning you could sell it for a lot). It is worth it if you have a lot of friends.

by MJCBMP on Oct 25, 2008 6:57 PM PDT up reply actions

Hmm.

I usually don’t get much food, but that could be nice.

I got two tickets, so I guess it really depends on who else is in the suite.

New experience I guess.

Absolutely not

I read it and was thoroughly disappointed.

Sergio will explode this year as the best NBA player ever and will take revenge impregnating all Portland and Blazers with the "chocolate" word.

Zero, same as last year !

I’m still in BOYCOTT mode. As a 35 + year
Blazermaniac, I’m still appalled at the decision to
sign a long term deal with a GIANT MONOPLISTIC
cable company who has pulled the same sort
of power play for years, all over the nation. After
attending 6-10 games per year for 20 + years
(driving 5 hours each way from Medford) I will
not be giving my money to the Blazer organization,
who signed this horrible deal.
I love the team (coaches & players), but detest
the business decision. I haven’t shopped or given
a dime to any of COINCAST’s advertiser’s in over
a year. I’ve called frequently (BiMart, WF, Taco Bell, etc.)
and have convinced many others to not patronize these
companies. Monopolies suck !

COINCAST SUCKS !! GO BLAZERS !!!!!

It's GO time !

Thinking 5-10

Family has season tickets, but I’m attending college in San Diego.

That number will be higher if we make the playoffs

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
