Blazersedge Ambassadors

We have filled our Ambassador posts and I sent out an e-mail to our Ambassadors tonight. If you wrote to me about being an Ambassador you should have received it. If you didn't receive an e-mail, write me at the address below.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered! We filled all of our spots easily.

This is great

I was designated as the Hawks ambassador and I am excited to learn more about the team down in Atlanta. A quick scan over at their site shows that there was only one comment in the game thread and all of the fanposts appear to be written by the site’s moderator. At first I looked at that in a negative way because they obviously don’t enjoy the kind of activity and fan participation that we all do at this site but I am going to take this as an opportunity to get to know the few die hard fans who post on the site and hopefully build a rapport and get some dialogue going between our site and theirs. Thanks again Dave for setting this up and I hope I speak for all the ambassadors when I say we are excited to see how this thing evolves throughout the season.

I was hoping to get Chicago because of my super-fun encounters I have experienced over on Blog a Bull.

It’s an honor to be the ambassador to King James and his merry men.

Can the new cast of warriors overcome the battle worn veterans in the green? Will the experiment of yesteryear finally come to fruition? Is new offensive weapon enough to make the arsenal deadly? Do the brutes have enough left to withstand the new monster rising out of the west?

All I know is it’s gonna be a fun year.

I think this was a great idea Dave. Why overstress yourself trying to cover every corner of the league when you can just as easily send a team of witty bloggers to scour the internet for you. I can see this site becoming one of the most educated NBA blogs very quickly.

As long as the Mavs don’t collapse completely I will follow the team and their nice fans diligently and report back. I might even succeed to convince KP to consider Dirk as our future backup championship PF. Who knows? Or Cuban to sell the Mavs straight up to Allen. How many NBA franchises can one owner have under current league rules?

He really writes a lot of good stuff I like to read, and I’m sure he would appreciate more feedback from fans since the guys who seem to comment most there are other SBN bloggers. I very rarely commented since I don’t really know much about the team. Though I would join a discussion there. And the team seems to try and follow the Blazers model of creating a solid team with good character guys. And that’s appreciated by their fans.

Only problem: I want to steal Granger. Muahahahaha.

I have to be honest, I am fairly biased when it comes to Phoenix teams… in that I am from Tucson and all real Tucsonan’s dislike all things Phoenix. I don’t actively root against the Suns, but I cannot bring myself to root for them, the dbags, or especially their football team that has seemingly sucked for 50 years straight.

I am a fan of the Sun’s fans, because they are loyal and passionate about their team much like Blazer fans are. I am here to follow their ups and downs and also to track any stories involving raps about sampling buttocks.

I am honored to have been given the opportunity to be the BE ambassador to the Suns. I will be respectful, and I will report in a timely manner as the Blazer’s get closer to their encounters with Shaq’s back-sweat. Living only 120 miles away, I have my finger on the pulse of the Phoenician’s view of their beloved team. I will be sure to let you all know if and when they flat-line.

I would like to be an ambassador to everyone who has been banned. Sort of like a prisoner outreach program. They must be rehabilitated, not incarcerated. Poor souls. They never really had a choice.

Just in case people weren’t aware, Ball Don’t Lie did a roundup of the best team blogs out there. I know this Ambassadorship is explicitly to the SBN blogs, but for those blogs without a ton of readership or community, the BDL lists might provide a few additional sources.
