Ambassador Update
We've gotten a good response on the Ambassador post (below). We're nearly full of ambassadors so if you want to be one, make sure you e-mail me soon. For everyone who wrote, give me the weekend to sort things out between people and get everybody assigned and we'll be off and running by Monday at the latest.

Presentation of Credentials
I would expect your ambassador to Bright Side of the Sun to follow diplomatic protocol and present their credentials for inspection.

Would we have diplomatic immunity?
Hmm….
One of Two Official Blazer's Edge Poets Laureate for the 2008-2009 Season
"In vino veritas." - Latin proverb
"Ich sitze hier und trinke mein gutes Wittenbergisch Bier und das Reich Gottes kommt von ganz alleine" - Martin Luther
"μηκέτι ὑδροπότει, ἀλλὰ οἴνῳ ὀλίγῳ χρῶ διὰ τὸν στόμαχον καὶ τὰς πυκνάς σου ἀσθενείας." - 1 Timothy 5:23
Of course
Full diplomatic immunity. You can park anywhere on BSoS without fear of ticketing. You will never be cited for speed typing. And you are completely immune from libel and slander charges.

Does this immunity also include slander of the front office?
or of former players who have been elevated to cult-hero status in Phoenix? I mean, I can support the Van Arsdale brothers, Larry Nance, Dan Majerle, KJ and even Oliver Miller (before he ballooned to 400+ lbs), but Jeff Hornacek and Tom Chambers are going to get some serious ribbing if I am chosen for this post… just so you know.

Really. REALLY? He's going to ask that? Doesn't he know who Jerryd is? Doesn't he realize Jerryd was born ready?"

Specify diplomatic protocol.
How do you mean by diplomatic protocol? And what credentials would be needed? I am wondering in the event that I become an ambassador to Bright Side of the Sun. The Suns were one team I volunteered to be one for.

Hate to say it.
I hate to say it, but count me out. I don’t meet the qualifications.

This is my first attempt at
reaching out to our fellow brethren across the SB Nation. … any thoughts?
