Another post reminded me of this incident:

I met Brent Barry in the Virgin Islands during Spurs training camp there a few years back (Tim Duncan’s home country) and, although he was a warm and fun guy, he ticked me off with this habit of saying “Oree-gone.”
I was like, “ha ha, not funny.”
and Brent’s like: “Oooooree-Gone. Oooohreeee-Gone …”
Drove me up the wall. He said he always made that “joke” to tick of Oregonians.
It worked.

He did however totally crack-up about 200 grade-schoolers by beat-boxing on stage. Duncan sat expressionless as usual.
