Pictures Jazz @ Portland from 326
Okay so I moved from 119 to 326 this season. No I didn't want to do so, it was more of an economic issue. That said, I'm pretty happy with my seats. For those of you up in the neighborhood of 326 I'm in Row F seats 1-2. Feel free to stop by and say hi, maybe bringing a beer with you as a good gesture? I don't know up to you. lol
Anyway these are just a handful of pictures from tonights loss to the Jazz. All things considered I can't say I'm dissapointed with our play, we held our own considering who started, who didn't play and the fact that Utah did play all their big guns for roughly 20+ minutes.
Props to out to Battum, Outlaw and Sergio in tonights game. Hope you like the pictures!

Thanks!
I listened to this game from start to finish while laying on my in-law’s couch. My mental projection of what this game looked like was pretty spot-on…. except… Wheels failed to mention just how much Shav took for the team today. Any guess on how many times he washed his face tonight?

Batum's arms are freaky long
I could imagine why his shot mechanics are a little non-standard. Extending those arms in the classic method would put a heck of an arc on his shot.
Hey, Sabonis’s shot was kinda flat and he ended up alright.
I’m sure the Blazer’s shooting coach / guru will work with him on it if neccessary. He seems to have done a servicable job with Sergio this past summer.
the Spanish contributors on this board are hellah cool
thats a first!
I’m glad to see someone liked one of my pictures enough to use it as their avatar! Ione is my favorite Blazer Dancer too. lol

I’m pretty sure Joel is never allowed to go to the bathroom during games…

I wondered about that
I was thinking he plays the whole game like that because of his issue two seasons ago.

LOL for real!
Didn’t even see it until I read your post and went back! Hilarious!
I think Tom might be right – Joel should wear a steel cup.

I noticed that "pose" a lot last season
Maybe that’s why he has trouble catching the b-ball. His hands are busy.
Shav pic is GREAT.
One more to his long list of ummmmmmmm “sports” photos.

First thought of mine too :)
When asked about his thoughts during the Olympic games about playing against Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard, Rudy responded "My first thought was respect. My second thought was to kick their ass".
Man I love him.
That photo makes me think the Blazers will be in the Finals this year
Last year I went to a Lakers/Golden State exhibition game here, and it seemed like the Lakers always had mostly white guys on the floor. I thought it was strange because I could only name three white Lakers off the top of my head. My logic is flawless and my comments are impenetrable.

Hey I really like the photos of Batum
Especially the first one, where he is blocking that other dude’s shot. That is way cool.
Batum seems to be very talented. Just needs to develop his skills, and he is quite prepared to do that because of his high B’Ball IQ.
The perfect is the enemy of the good.
According to James Kunstler, who writes a well-respected if slightly profane financial blog whose title I cannot repeat here, "The Republicans must be clearly identified as the party that wrecked America... it's hard to imagine the American people giving the clean-up task to the very group that created the mess -- no matter how many cute little faces Sarah Palin can make on TV."
these are wayyyyy better than mine ! :)
Thanks great pics !

I have a Nikon D-300 with 18-200
I’m fully zoomed out to get all of the shots, and the far visitor bucket shots don’t look nearly as good. I’m looking into getting the 200-400 from Pro Photo Supply in Portland, but its a little pricey for a guy sitting in 326. I’m considering renting one for a day to test it out and see what kind of shots I can get but I’d be looking at $60 a day to do so. Anyone whose into photography that would like to help me out, I’m taking hand-me-downs. lol

Ben,
Can we get this guy a pass at the RG to be the official Blazersedge photgrapher?
We have to make this happen.
