Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

"From what I’ve seen, he allowed Steve Nash to dribble the ball for 22 seconds," Marbury said. "He allows guys to shoot coming down on the break, one-on-three. For me, I like that style of basketball." - Stephon Marbury, misinterpreting Mike D'Antoni's playing style (on purpose in order to get waived?)

I know

That guy is nuts. That picture of him hugging that reporter is PRICELESS! I also like the “Did you see what Isiah pulled off??! We got Zach Randolf!! We got help now!!” quote. Very entertaining.

Wow.

That’s all I can summon after reading that.

I had New York improving by a handful of wins this season, but instead they may be heading for an implosion of historical proportions.

Got to love him

He helps make the NBA dunces look just a little more clever on the whole.

What was it that Kurt Vonnegut said about bad chemicals?

Starbury makes your wonder…

FWIW : From the SBN Knick's blog

Link
“Stephon Marbury- Steph’s running well, shooting well, and looking healthy. He appears upbeat and focused at all times. For all his offcourt hijinks, the man is all business between the baselines.”

Also: “Zach Randolph- Zach may have dropped some weight, and he’s running the court surprisingly well.” I thought he always ran the court well – when he wanted to.

“Eddy Curry: Still a no-show. Didn’t get word on whether or not he’s still yakking in the hotel room.”

Thank the powers that be for the Trail Blazers!!

Love those knicks!!!

Seriously, we should trade Oden and Roy straight across for Eddy Curry and Starbury. Our finalizing of the roster would be complete!!!

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
