Sympathy for Zach in NY

To be honest I was happy to see Zach struggle in NY because it made us look better but reading this article made me feel for Zach.

It's a horrible horrible situation in NY and hearing how your former team is better without you is pretty tough.

I follow the Knicks pretty closely and I can say our  recent Jail Blazers era is nothing compared to where the Knicks our now.

This blog give you a good idea of what the Knicks bizzare world is like.

Basically even the firing of Isiah wouldn't be enough, it goes all the way to the top: the owner.

Imagine if Steve Patterson was the owner of the Knicks, that's basically what Dolan is like. He constantly battles the media, makes everyone working for the organization only say happy, positive things, never admit you did anything wrong and rake in the dough making no effort in winning.

I'd feel sympathy for the Knicks fans and there are those that see the Knicks for what they are but I can't help but notice that the Knicks still make a ton of cash and proabably the top moneymaking franchise in the league. If they wanted the Knicks to change they should stop going to games. But they don't seem to be doing that.

It's a shame because a good Knicks franchise would be good for the league. Unfortunatley lousy ownership is the worst thing that can happen to a franchise. Just look at the Detroit Lions.
