ZBO Suspended 1 game

http://www.nba.com/news/randolph_080104.html

Well Z-bo is off to his antics.... throwing a headband at a official. Hmmmm this trade just keeps getting better and better.

Remember how excited Zach was... he would finally reach the playoffs in the East and make the all-star team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...... heck he might even accomplish it... just like Isiah Thomas will win a championship with the players he has now!!!!

Let's not bag on Zach
he is immature, but I still wish him the best. He is so young and got his head so big with that fat contract, everything that could go wrong in a young players life did. Not to say I feel sorry for all those millions he has, but he has been more than cordial in the past at Lloyd Center and elsewhere I have seen him. Just a kid who needs to figure out winning is the key. If he ever did, and just made himself a better Millsap, Jesus, he would be incredible. Oh, and his defense could use a little, um, resuscitation. Not the right word, because that would imply it existed, but trying to maintain a positive post.
Hate the game, not the player.

Not everything
There are so many more things that could go wrong with Z-bo. He's not Jim Leyritz or Michael Vick or Qyntel Woods or Barry Bonds or Len Bias. As far as sports-star tragedies go, Z-bo's not even in the top  100. He's just a dummy. That's all, no more, no less. Just a big goofy dumb guy who does stupid stuff cuz that's what dumb guys do.

Z-bo is...

Homer Simpson with a post-up game, and who prefers a bong to a beer bottle.

Mmm, donuts!

I agree...
Even if it was with the Knicks, I'd love to see Zach do well. I wouldn't even mind seeing some Portland v NY finals on an ongoing basis.

He was a great basketball player for us with some huge attitude problems that he can still overcome. Unless he starts fighting dogs, I'll find a way to hope he does well wherever he is.

Some people will do ANYTHING

to avoid an ash-kicking by Duncan.  :)

Even it means forfeiting a game's pay...

Eh? At an official?
My friend [Knicks fan] said he threw it into the crowd.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
