First, I love the Buffet of Goodness. Really I do. But everytime he gets the ball in the paint, I want to cover my eyes. I mean, he almost NEVER finishes in there! How many 6-11 guys would you rather see launching an 18-foot jumper than a lay-in or 5-foot jump-hook? I can only think of one! I appreciate Frye's effort; more than anything, this appears to me to be an issue of physical strength--or lack thereof.
So I propose we purchase a home gym for Channing. Sure, he has access to weights over at the Blazer's practice facility. But let's face it: this is an extreme case. Granted, LMA isn't exactly Dwight Howard. But LaMarcus has made huge strides in the past year, and by next season I'm confident he'll be OK. Frye, on the other hand, reminds me of the "98-lb weakling" getting sand tossed in his face in those old body-building ads.
Anyone else ready to chip in for that workout gear?
