lets give the guy a little credit...
Thats nearly his playing weight, not too shabby.  It is starting to look like Darius wont be a mystery this year, he should be healthy enough to get back on the floor this year unless he reinjures himself.

    Agreed
I agree that we shouldn't criticize his weight too much considering his height. He's definitely overweight, but I think his conditioning will be fine soon enough. Keep in mind that this is a person who's used to eating like an athlete but has been told he isn't allowed to be active like an athlete. Once he becomes active again, the pounds will come off just fine. The only question will be how effective he'll be post-recovery. Of course, that is THE question regarding Darius, much more so than his weight.

    I'm with you too
I've seen him several times at the gym over the last couple of months and have commented on the site that it seems like he isn't very overweight, the only reason I hadn't gone further is because the clothes he was wearing were baggy enough to tell if he was thin or just not heavy.  Regardless it has been very clear that he's not all about ice cream and must be working fairly hard to recover from his post-surgery condition.  We should all want to see what his contributions may be both on the court and in the locker room, even if it is decided that we aren't going to keep him, if he can play, it could be quite helpful in moving him before his contract expires.

this didnt deserve its own diary...
so I thought I would throw it out here...  Check out the poll of Jorga's diary from before last season.  Are the results some sort of joke???  heres the link:

It's gotta be a bug in the software.
I've never seen a poll with much more than 100 responses in a diary and the site is way bigger now than in September 06.

It just has to be a bug in the software.

    Or...
Dickau's mom creates several new accounts every day just so she can cast more votes in that poll.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
