This is actually my first diary. It seems that people on this site usually find and post the news here before I ever find it on my own (which is why I come to this site first). But since most people here don't subscribe to the Seattle Times, I finally found an opportunity to contribute.

Forgot to mention

This article was on the front page of the sports section, and mentioned on the front page of the Times. So I'm guessing there were alot of people in Seattle reading this article yesterday.

now its time for you to rufflle some feathers ..so tell me... do the people in the emarald city think that this team in the rose city is eventually going to be theirs... I mean we have the owner, president, and two players in roy and webster that rein from that city plus our coach is MR Sonic.. it would be their team..also do they believe webster will pan out as a player who deserved to go # 6

Haha, I figured it was only a matter of time before you came around and stirred up a controversy :D. Seriously, some people around here have the impression that the Blazers will come to Seattle, but it's only the apathetic non-fans. The real Sonics fans want the team to stay and realize it is cost-prohibitive for Allen to move the Blazers here. What amazes me is how few Sonics fans there are here. Seriously, Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis couldn't get people interested in this team, and Durant isn't doing it either. I really want the Sonics to stay here, but I honestly don't blame the NBA for wanting to move them. Alot of people (including non-fans) like having the team around, but don't seem to realize that the only way to keep the team around is to support them by buying tickets and gear.

And yeah, I haven't posted as much lately because I took a job that has me working 60-70 hours a week. I still drop by a couple times a day to see what's new, though.
