SI.com has been running a series of articles where the 4 different authors put together the "Greatest Team of All-Time" in their respective sports (baseball, football, and now basketball are already done).
Normally, this is kind of a yearly ho-hum article, but this year they added both "All-Current Team" (which is essentially the best team you could create out of the current players in the NBA) and an "All-Future Team" (which is supposed to be up-and-coming players)...
It's sad to see that the author for basketball's "All-Future Team" only selected current dynamos (Lebron, Tony Parker, and Yao Ming aren't exactly up-and-comers) because I think Roy and/or Aldridge could have snuck onto the list... But Greg Oden made it as a reserve (splitting time with Yao and Dwight Howard) and Nate McMillan was selected as the coach.
It's pretty awesome to think that the coach of the "All-Future Team" is coaching our batch of future stars!
