Absolutely ridiculous statistical exercise
I was just thinking what kind of numbers the major pieces are going to be putting up next year. Here's my guesses, I'd like to see what other people think.
Jack: 13 pts / 5 assists / 3 rebs (if he starts)
Roy: 17 / 5 assists / 5 rebounds
Aldridge: 15 / 2 assist / 8 rebounds / 2 blocks
Outlaw: 12 / 1 assist / 6 rebounds / 1.2 blocks
Oden: 12 / 2 assists / 10 rebounds / 2 blocks
Frye: 10 / 2 assists / 5 rebounds / 1 block
Blake: 6 / 4 assists / 2 rebounds
Webster: 7 / 1 assist / 3 rebounds
I don't think anyone else will have any real significant impact on our season. Maybe Pryzbilla, but i don't see what kind of role he has on a team that's got such a talented young front court. I really think alot of our success hinges on Webster. Obviously, that's exaggeration, but if Webster can prove to be just a consistent spot up 3 pt shooter, life becomes so much easier for the rest of the team. Unfortunately the chances of that happening seem to be slim at best.
What kind of numbers do you guys expect each player to put up? I realize this is complete conjecture, but it'd be nice to come back later and see who made good guesses.

Here's a guess
Starters
Blake: 8 / 5.5 assists / 2 rebounds
Roy: 17 / 4.5 assists / 5 rebounds
Aldridge: 15 / 2 assist / 8 rebounds
Oden: 9 / 2 assists / 8.5 rebounds
Bench
Frye: 10 / 2 assists / 5 rebounds / 1 block
Jack: 12 pts / 4 assists / 3 rebs
Pryzbilla: 6 pts / 1 assist / 4.5 rebs
Outlaw: 9 / 1.5 assist / 6 rebounds
Jones: 7 / 1.5 assist / 2.5 rebounds
Webster: 7 / 1 assist / 3.5 rebounds
Sergio: 3 / 3.5 assists / 1.5 rebounds
I don't list a starter at SF because I'm not sure who that will be. I list Oden with the starters, but I think Pryz gets the starting nod early on in the season.
I'd say my numbers are pribably high, as they equal 103 points per game. Probably knock a couple off Frye and either Jones or Webster.

Miles: DNP or Oh please god, medical retirement.
I know this adds up to quite alot but I think some games we won't see Webster at all and possibly Rodriguez depending on training camp effort and there will be injuries resulting in more play and points for our bench guys. You have to play to effect your #'s which is one reason I think 82games stat is ridiculous.
Also I think Outlaw will have some monster games and some terrible ones. I think Outlaw is gonna have a huge year. Not LMA huge but some amazing explosions on scoring some games when our outside shot is falling. I still think Outlaw should come off the bench in favor of Jones starting. I think Outlaw should be our go to guy in the 2nd unit along with Frye down deep. Look for Outlaw to start and then become our sixth man in favor of a Jones start about 10 games into the season to delicious effect.
There is now a considerably weakened NW & Pacific Divisions. Almost all due I might add to losing big men to the Eastern conference (Grin) to the delight of Oden/Aldridge/Frye.
End result? 40-43 wins I think they hit or break .500 .

I'll Spin the Wheel
Jack 9 6.1 2 0.7 1.3
Roy 19.3 4.8 4.7 0.2 1.6
Aldridge 17.1 2.1 5.8 1.4 0.2
Outlaw 12.5 0.9 4.3 1.4 1.3
Oden 13.3 2.1 10.8 3.1
Frye 10.1 1.1 5.6 0.1
Blake 5.4 4.2 1.8 0.2
Webster 4.8 0.3 1.5 0.1 0.2
Pryzbilla 3.2 0.4 4.2 1.4 0.2
Jones 10.2 0.6 2.8 0.3
Rodriguez 4.2 4.2 1.1 0.1 0.7
I remain an optimist. You can tell I skewed it toward a much improved season. (Keep in mind I need 44 wins of the first 56 games to dine with Fatty.) Guessing turnovers would have been very challenging. Per game stats are so hard when we don't know coach's general game plan as far as who starts and how much time they each get. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
