B Roy not scrimmaging with Team USA.

This makes me sad.  Chris Sheridan is reporting in his blog that Brandon is not going to be able to participate in the Team USA scrimmages because of a scheduling conflict.

This sounded like a great opportunity for him to begin to polish his stardom a little more.  I wonder what his scheduling conflict is.

The scrimmage squad looks like this:

Andre Iguodala
David Lee
Devin Harris
Monta Ellis
Al Jefferson

Roy would have looked good on that Team.  Maybe KP could work to get Aldridge and Oden on that squad.

That is too bad
I hope the scheduling conflict is an even better option for Roy to hone his skills because this did seem like a great opportunity for him.

Wow
Devin Harris' value is still really high.

his schedule conflict is..
rest and rehab. dont forget about his heel and knee pains.  They want him to get healthier this season and be ready for next season.  Roy doesnt need to prove himself at team usa, he has all of next year to do that.

That is
definitely more important if he's still rehabbing.

Devin Harris?
That seems like a strange choice. I wonder how he snuck on there...

B-Roy's knees ....
have been a real concern of mine.  I love Roy's game, but I just can't shake this bad feeling I have about his knees causing him problems, and shortening his career (Grant Hill).  Hopefully I am way wrong about the seriousness of Roy's injuries.

I'm
with you... seems a bit gimpy for someone who just wrapped up season #1.  Is or isn't the heel an isolated incident?  I've heard conflicting stories on that.

I thought....
the heel was one isolated problem that was supposed to heal with rest....but his knees are a seperate problem.  Let's just hope that they are related, and that once his heel has fully healed, so will his knees.

I am not sure but..
I thought when he first got the heel injury they said it was a problem he had for a while and they really didnt know how to fix it other than rest. I dont worry as much about his knees because I believe that the team made it out a little worse than it is/was because they didnt want him to play in the last 3 games and get them any wins which would hurt their lottery chances(thank god!!!!!!)  I think every nba player has nagging painful knees, its the acl, mcl, pcl blowouts that you got to worry about but I could definetely be wrong.

how many times has kobe lost in portland?
For the past years, my father and I have NEVER been on TV, not even close. We have such bad luck at games, we never win any of the cheap prizes (not even a chance, never come close) but our luck in the past 2 games have dramatically changed. Last time we got the game ball, this time we very creepily are in the back on national television. I'm just letting the 15 minutes of fame soak in. What will be next?

I also apologize to Martell Webster for stealing his spotlight tonight
