So all of you current fans should be meeting each other, hooking up, and settling down, the better to raise the next generation fan base. Blazermaniac in Rogue Valley seeks same
Blazermaniac here in Southern Oregon.
You can't miss the BRM (Big Red Machine)
ladies, it's red with black trim and rolls to
Blazers games on a regular basis.
A. - 5 - Get him out before he contaminates the
young fellas.
B. - 1 - It's GO time !
C. - 5 - Stood next to him at the last game.
I couldn't believe he showed up. It
must have been in his contract.
D. - 2 - JJ has more + than -'s. Team player.
E. - 4 - Sergio has skills, but he dribbles too
much and can't play defense.
F. - 3 - If we can get Brewer, yes. If not,
trade Zbo for Prince or Nocioni +.
G. - 2 - Travis still has improvement to go.
His shooting has been good, now work
on quick feet("D"), and passing.
H. - 1 - Don't give up on a talented, YOUNG kid
who can shoot. Most high school kids
take 4 to 5 years to develop and Martell
already has a NBA body.
I. - 2 - No person can be referred to as God !
That said, he's an excellent coach, who
has a defensive orientation to his game
and he's been there !
J. - 2 - Ime's an inspiration. Now that his knee
is fixed, he can get back to his corner
when he's not shadowing.
K. - 2 - Dan had some games when he was instant
offense. I think he can be a nice 12th
man, insurance player. Local guy helps.
L. - 3 - Run when you can, but set up with Roy
creating for other's. What a recipe !
M. - 5 - Don't do it. He'll demand shots and
doesn't play much D. He'll also be
very expensive.
N. - 4 - Sheed has a great all around game,
but he's a head case. When he threw
the towel at Sabas, that was it for
me.
O. - 3 - Why not win with character guys ?
P. - 1 - I'd been telling my buddies we were
going to get GO before last year's
draft. They thought I was nuts. A
San Diego buddy called me at a Giants
game to tell me we won the lottery.
WWWWUUUUUUU !!!! Yeah! The same
friend saw the McDonalds game two
years ago and said the first eight
West possesions, GO either blocked
the shot or intimo'd a missed shot.
He said it was AWESOME !

My choices:
B. 4-Durant=Too special to pass up!
C. 8-Darius please please sign that paper in August!
D. 2-Jack is a starter for the time being.
E. 3-Will Sergio be J. williams or Steve Nash? Hard to say but I love watching him play!
F. 4-SF like Childress/Granger/Jamison or draft Brewer.
G. 4-The Warriors are the best fit for Trout.
H. 4-The clock is ticking.
I. 2-"God" too strong, but I love what Nate's done thus far with a mostly bare pantry.
J. 2-Ime will be a great complimentary piece.
K. 5-Adios Danny boy! Please bring me someting good back as part of a trade this summer.
L. 3-Versatile and balanced like the Spurs.
M. 3-Depends on how much money he wants. I'd rather get Jamison, but Lewis/12mil annually would be better than keeping Zbo.
N. 5-Shoulda dumped Sheed after he threw that towel at by beloved Sabas.
O. 5-Character comes first. If Trader Bob had understood that and been a litle more patient, we would have at least 1 other title since 77'.
P. 3-Who knows, but I sure as heck ain't complaining.

B. Oden 1..you can't coach big as the saying goes..this guy is going to be phenomenal but it's going to take time..ie Hakeem Olajuwan
C. 5 Darius is done..get him outta here..unreliable jerk
D. 5 Jack is a backup..he's got a lot of game and might be "Chauncey Billups" in a few years but right now he'd be better suited as a backup
E. 4 Sergio is overrated..exciting and fun to watch but he turns the ball over too much and his D is awful..maybe he'll learn..but then again, maybe not
F. 5 Veteran small forward..a veteran is needed at this position..Desmond Mason would be a good fit and wouldn't cost a fortune..plus his wife is from PDX
G. 5 Beware Outlaw..despite being able to jump out of the gym this guy looks like a liability when he's on the court..you never know what you're going to get
H. Martell recovers 3..Martell will be a good backup 2/3 but he needs to get his head right..he's very young but that excuse is rapidly losing its validity..he needs to work with a sports psychologist
I. Nate is God 3..I love his discipline and his game plan but his rotation leaves me baffled sometimes..what does he REALLY want to do, Run or Halfcourt..I still don't know
J. 4 Ime's average but a good guy to have..not a starter long term but a terrific perimeter defender and reliable corner jumper..those two things alone put him above many of the other 4's in this league
K. 5 Give Dan a pass..adios Dan
L.4 Halfcourt game..it appears we're headed toward a halfcourt game..ie stockton/malone
M. 5 Anti-Lewis..too much money will be required to get lewis
N. 5 Shoulda dumped `Sheed sooner..i can't stand this guy despite his obvious talents..he has "asshole" written all over him
O. 3 Character matters more..this doesn't have to be an either/or situation..there are good guys who know how to win..that's what we want
P. 5 It was random..the math says it was random but as Chris Rock said in the old MCI commercial, "It ain't right and it ain't fair, it's just Karma baby"

I'm pretty neutral on most...
B. 2 lean toward Oden
C. 5 no ambiguity here
D. 2 I think he'll be a solid starter
E. 4 I like to watch him play but I think he's closer to Jason Williams than Magic Johnson
F. 4 Only because I think the team needs some vet presence
G. 3 I really can't figure him out
H. 4 Martell might be OK, but not considering what we passed on
I. 2 I like Nate, but I ain't gonna worship him
J. 2 Ime is a very solid player. Great fifth or sixth man.
K. 4 leaning towards 5
L. 3 best of both worlds
M. 4 I think he's a bit over-rated
N. 3 Sheed is Sheed

my thoughts
B. Oden (1)- My mind is made up.
C. Darius is Done (5)- I'll trust Quick on this one.
D. Jack is a starter (2) I think he's shown he can become an average to just above average starter in time.
E. Sergio (3). He's going to be a good player. Superstar? no.
F. SF (4). I prefer getting a veteran to go with the young trio of LA, BR and GO.
G. Outlaw (3). I waver on this all the time.
H. Martell (4). I love Martell and believe he can contribute, but if you believe he and JJ were worth passing on CP3 or DWill you are fooling yourself.
I. Nate (2). I like Nate.
J. Ime (2). I like Ime also. Not a great player but a guy you love having on your team.
K. Dan (4). Dan is a end of the bench guy.
L. Running game (2). I prefer watching the running game, but I would have no problem supporting a winning Blazer team that played halfcourt ball.
M. Pro-Lewis (1). I'd love it if we could land him.
N. Sheed (5). I wish we'd gotten more, but we had to get rid of him.
O. Winning matters more (2). I didn't mind the bad character guys as much in '95-'00 when we were winning as I did in '02 on when we were terrible.
P. (5) Just dumb luck, fellas.

J. Ime's a key player 2 Ime's average (plays lockdown d, hits 3s regularly, always looks pissed off, great for this team)

L. Running game 4 Halfcourt game (we will win championships with defense, not scoring)
