an alternative at SF
I will go on the record and say I have no idea about whether this guy is a free agent or what kind of money he is making, but....
How about Matt Barnes?
Pros:
Would love to start
Shoots threes, good handle
Doesn't need to be the main guy
Cons:
Too wild for Nate?
Will have plenty of suitors if he is available
Anyways, I find the prospect, however realistic, intriguing.
Your thoughts?

I agree
Luke Walton
I'm not sure we'd want him to start, but he could be a great role player off the bench.
If Outlaw is let go, Luke Walton could be a really smart signing for depth.

Should have posted here instead of the Jack line
Ime has a higher FG% than any of them, is only slightly below Bell & Battier in FT% and much better than Bowen. A better shot blocker and rebounder than Bowen or Bell. The only criticism might be his assist numbers, but that's probably due to how the Blazers run their offense and Udoka's roll in it.
The guy has the makings of a shutdown defender in just his first full season, appears to be so well liked by his coaches and teammates that they lobbied hard to keep him on the team and is a local guy to boot. And remember - his numbers ended up taking a hit the last month of the season as he played with a concussion.
Ime Udoka is exactly the one player I think the Blazers need more than just about any other. He's the guy that will help ensure the 3 future All-Stars mesh as a unit.
the reason I brought up Barnes was
We need a real starting SF
But Barnes is gonna about to be overpaid for how well he played in the playoffs, and even though I don't think he'll have the post-big-contract malaise, I don't think he's worth big bucks. (in this case, big bucks equals about the full MLE) He's good for Golden State, but probably not for us.
I'd rather use what we got or draft a SF than to get a stop gap like Barnes. He'll cost too much to be a role player off the bench, I'd rather give the minutes to Outlaw/Webster/Udoka, and we can do better. But it's not a bad idea, he really did set himself apart last season.
