I am in limbo; stuck between a season that is over, and a lottery yet to begin. Dogs bark, cats meow, but my Blazer addiction will not be satisfied with mock drafts until the order is set. Even then, it will be a poor substitute for the real day and the summer league that will follow.
I'm going through Blazer withdrawl. Man, they don't tell you about it when they hype the season do they? I mean, how many people would sign up for season tickets if they knew what they were letting themselves in for? The endless need for new and deeper Blazer info and analysis, with a larger helping of pure speculation and conjecture.
Yes, I'm a Blazer addict. And I'm proud of it. At times like this, I turn to Alfred Lord Tennyson, a true visonary who prophecied about this event over 150 years ago.
Tho' much is taken, much abides; and tho'
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,--
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
