March/April Jersey Contest: Game 2 Scoreboard

Well, homers made out like bandits Thursday and got hosed tonight.  If your score is low, don't worry.  You have a lot of company.  There must have been some kind of subliminal thing going on this weekend because 90% of you were convinced that the Blazers would win and Lamarcus would have the first dunk.  Neither one panned out.  A couple of people scored huge going the other way though.

The good news is that three folks scored 22's and thus won a prize instantly.  They were SupremePuntiff, McMillion, and Grizzo.  I will be in contact with all three of you Monday morning to discuss your prizes.

An important thing to remember this month:  The 12 highest scorers after the Wizards game on March 20th will progress to the playoffs.  When the playoffs start all scores go back to zero.  That means it doesn't matter if you're #1 or #12...there's no difference at all as long as you make the top dozen by the 20th.  So all of you with lower scores right now don't give up!  You don't have to catch the leader.  You just have to catch up to spot #12.  With scores of 70+ being commonplace that's certainly possible even if you're starting from the teens or twenties right now.

Scores are listed below.  The first number after your name is your cumulative score for the month.  The number in parentheses is your score for this particular game (if you entered).  Leaders are in bold.

Whew!
I was worried when I saw that I was off on so many questions.  I should have stopped to add up my points!

HaHa!
We should totally have a lottery for the bottom ten!  Dave can watch for absurd predictions and penalize for tanking!

In the lottery spirit . . .
. . . I could see spotting the "winner" of the bottom-ten lottery
fifty points for the Jersey contest next November.

hey
dave, do you think you could highlight the 12th highest score each time in addition or instead of the top 3? Hah, since that number has added significance this time around.

As we get closer
I will start to put them in order by score.  Like maybe in the last three or four games.  The reason I don't now is that it would make it harder to find your score and because it adds 10-20 minutes on to what is already an hour-long process for me after every game.  Even counting the top 12 would take more time and usually I'm so tired by the time I finish.

Give me a few games and when it become more crucial I will.

yeah buddy
22... that's why you're never out of it. Is there a better blogger game out there? I sincerely doubt it.
