the best dunk i've ever seen...
Was flushed by the newest Blazer, none other then Mr. Fredrick Jones. Back in high school, I travelled with my freshman team to West Linn for a pre-season mini-tourny. Freddy was, at that time, a senior and the best player in the state. Everybody was watching when he leaped and executed an off-the-back-of-the-iron-rebound-into-a-windmill-monster-jam that brought the house down. Spectacular.
I'm just saying, I have a good feeling about him being back in Oregon. A real good feeling.
Two things: what was the best dunk you've ever seen live?
and
did anyone see O.J. Mayo yesterday?
he's the real deal.

You know the dunks I enjoyed...
I also loved Drexler's tomahawk dunks. Again, nothing spectacular but always an "ooh" moment.
I have to say, the last two summers I've really had fun watching Nate Robinson in warmups. He really plays to the crowd.
O.J. Mayo? I prefer Miracle Whip...

Ah yes, the Dunk of Death
Poor Frederic Weis. Got drafted by the Knicks, realized he sucked too much to play in the NBA, and gets jumped over--literally--in the Olympics. It's embarassing when the guy your guarding brushes your forehead with his nads on the way to the hoop.
Another dunk I saw recently on youtube (no URL, sorry) was a high-school kid (I think) doing a 720 on the way to the hoop. Maybe they ought to strap skates on the guy and see if he can land a quadruple--if he did a double on the way UP, with a basketball in his hands, just think what he could do on ice.
On second thought, never mind. I apologize for mentioning ice skating in this blog. The booing may now commense. :)
