It seems short diaries are ok so I'm going to include this tidbit on Jason Quick.  I felt compelled to do so since I for one appreciate his wrtings. Here it is:

By the way, speaking of coverage, I wanted to congratulate The Oregonian's Jason Quick for netting a couple of nice honors for his coverage of the Blazers. The Pro Basketball Writers Association awarded him first place in the Game Stories catagory, and first place in the Features catagory. There's more info at this link. Nice job Jason.
