Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

Enough already!

I think it is time for the blazer streak to end!
Seriously!  All of the national attention they have been receiving lately, the sold out (insert
sponser name here) Rose Garden, having to walk from the Lloyd Center to the same said Venue because All of the Max trains are too full...it is
all Just too much!  Then, get in to find my seat, only to have every other person, it would seem anyway, raising their hand to me in the main concourse...(how was I to know they wanted a high-five?) Finally, I find my seat in the 300 section.
Just when I think it is safe to sit and eat my dinner (Expensive Hot Dog and Water), a Kindly, elderly lady behind me, strikes me several times about the head and shoulders, yelling " LOOK, it's Greg Oden"! (Never taking my mom to the games again, ever!)
Having cleaned the catsup, mustard and onions from my shirt, I settled in to watch the game.
Heck, I thought I was at a football game!  Seems like every other play, someone was trying to start
a wave of people standing up and cheering.  And they were yelling about some kind of construction project in broken english...some thing about a fence. But the worst part of all, when I got up to leave at the end of the game, nobody moved!  Just stood there clapping and cheering, hugging and everything, almost had a flashback to Woodstock!
Well, just thought I would share this rednecks view of the Streak, although I never did see any naked people running across the court. ;-)

Totally agree.  We never should've let Steve Patterson get away.  With this streak, you can totally appreciate how good Sonics and Bobcats fans have it.  Things sure went downhill after the Zach trade.  I used to be able to talk on my cell phone in the arena; now it's impossible.  The extra timeouts they put in for national TV games just make me get home later.  All the Chalupas this year are giving me indigestion...

Indubitably
I miss the competitive banter and "we get no respect" conversations.  All there happy thoughts are getting old.  Bring back the suffering.

Remembering
Not that long ago, people asked if you preferred a quick championship like Boston is getting, or the building process leading up to it.  Everyone said they wanted the slow building process, several seasons with plenty of losses before the championship runs start.

This team had better start losing quickly, or they are going to have a lot of unhappy fans.  I thought KP said he was listening to the fans nowadays.  Liar.

He also said that we need patience,
that this is going to take time, repeatedly.  He's not just a liar, he's a Double Dog Liar!

Sure I assume you joke...
but about 11 games ago, I picked The Blazers to lose in the Jersey Contest. Then out of supersticion to "maintain" the winning streak, I promised myself I would keep picking them to lose, as long as they kept winning. At the time I wouldn't of dreamed it was going to be an 11+ game commitment!

I'm not going to do anything and I'm enjoying the winning streak. However it destroyed my standing in this months competition. (small price to pay for the supersticious fun of believing I'm helping with the streak).

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
