I have this theory--backed by virtually no evidence--that deep in KP's scheming brain he hopes to someday have his cake and eat it too.  I'm talking about having both Greg Oden AND Kevin Durant in a Blazer uniform.

I know, I know: there's no way.  But I've had this funny feeling ever since Durant's Blazer workout--at which KP admiringly prounounced KD "an assassin"--that KP had such a master plan.  It was almost like he had a secret he wasn't sharing with anyone--a secret that allowed him to agonize over the Oden/Durant choice, but not to agonize TOO much.

Did any of you guys have that same irrational intuition?  Could it in fact be more than that?  I read that KP met with Durant before the game yesterday.  And afterwards Durant commented that Kevin is "a great guy."  No, I don't actually think anything was said about hooking up someday.  But there's just something about the relationship between those two...
